A contradiction in its name.

When is anyone going to recognise that
A) football players and fans might be a different size to rugby players and fans
B) this outfit is far from elite or pro and is costing the club revenue.

Launch a new shirt and popular sizes are gone (even in the shop) in 24 hours. What a shambles. Unless of course you like pies or you star in panto with Snow White.

I find the designs , quality, and above all extent of the range the best that's ever been available for the club. Improvements can always be made of course, but myself,  I have bought more in the last 2 or 3 years than ever before, especially the off field leisurewear.

Not bad at all at making shirts just bad at keeping stock levels up.

I saw a fellow Rovers fan with his Rovers face mask on in a Bradford car park today. He told me that he lives over Keighley way.

It’s a shame about selling out of popular sizes. Non on the website and sold out when I managed to nip into the shop in the town centre.

I think we're being a bit unfair at the moment. This time around the club ordered far more of this new shirt than at any other time in our history, and yet they've all sold out in a record time. Saturday itself was an online record for us.

They'll make more, it just means having to wait a while.

It can only be a good thing for the club if these are flying off the shelves tbh. Nice to hear some positive news.

It's good to know that more will be produced, Martin - thank you. Although, I must to say it has been a big chase around for nothing for my son today. Apparently yesterday it was reported that online supplies were sold out but there were supplies in the shop. But when calling the Frenchgate Centre for Elite Pro Sports tel. no. he discovered they didn't have a phone and the only way to contact them was to visit the store. So dutifully he did early today; only to be told by the shop assistant there were none available and no further supplies were expected. In desperation, he asked if he could order one, only to be told that would not be possible. Not a great customer experience, I'm sorry to report. Do we know when new supplies will be available, please?

Promising delivery by the end of February;

https://www.eliteprosports.co.uk/shop/doncaster-rovers/doncaster-rovers-official-kit/doncaster-rovers-replica-shirts/doncaster-rovers-coppinger-26-replica-shirt

I'd like to add to my previous comments by stating that the vast majority of shirts made available were for online customers but the sheer volume of orders depleted that stock very quickly. The store did have some left because they sold at a slower rate but of course eventually they went too.

Its been an unprecedented response by DRFC supporters, so well done all of you. I hope the disappointed ones get what they need, I'm sure you will.

Ordered mine on boxing day and just received confirmation it's been despatched.

Both orders I have placed so far have been dealt with efficiently. Very happy with the quality of the jacket I ordered previously so given the current circumstances, well happy with the service so far.

The actual service has not been too bad in my experience - I guess my only gripe is missing out on ST discount that has been there for years

It’s b*llocks. Shouldn’t take two months to get new shirts made.

Do you not think there are some extenuating circumstances at the moment given the shirts are almost certainly made abroad and we are in the middle of a global pandemic with transport restrictions???

Yep, mine came this aft too. All fine and dandy. Fits perfectly and opted not to have the printing as its got 26 embedded in the design so dodged that problem too.

No. Not if it’s a professional supplier.

Maybe, just maybe the factory that makes the shirts  has contracts with numerous other company's  to make clothing and can't just swop production from one to another in order to fulfil all there contracts.   Once the initial contracted run has been made they can't just immediately  swop back

They make stuff for Australian rugby teams amongst others. Clearly they underestimated the demand for these , but presumably will make more. Personally, I have no complaints from either shop or on line purchases and still maintain that we have the best club products supplier we have ever had.

Can't say who personally made an estimate of the numbers put into production.  I expect they took some guidance from the club shop , though I would expect Elite Sports to make the final call as they are taking the financial risk.
It says something positive about fans enthusiasm that demand exceeded supply, but you can understand them not  wanting to risk a warehouse full of unwanted gear.
Frustrating for customers,  but they can always have another production run.

Surely Rovers place the order? I don’t see how it could be a negotiation - we want shirts and we tell them how many.

The club shop is run entirely by Elite Pro Sports with their staff and products.

Ordered a home shirt in the sale, paid extra for a name and number. Turned up blank with no indication on the delivery note that it was meant to be printed, despite the order confirmation saying so.

f**king useless. Every time I've ordered something off their website, they've cocked up, or just not sent what I've paid for and had to be chased for either the stuff or my money.
