If he’s fit though why else would he not be in the squad?

Go and investigate and report back with your evidence. Choose your witnesses carefully and let us know if we need to call the police.

Sorry but you bring it on yourself sometimes.

In the meantime, there's a game of football on.

Bring what on?
Some people just can’t accept anything bad said about the club.
The facts are Moore said he was fit and ready to play, and now after significant interest and offers being made he’s now not in the squad

And some people's default setting is the club is lying or trying to have us on.

The leagues the priority we will know either before or next Saturday when we play Swindon. Other factors is where is Smith, Taylor and Gomes not just Whiteman

How are we winning? Been awful 1st half. Look very rusty after 18 day lay off.

Taylor Richards was giving ball away, missed great chance,  getting caught in possession and then comes up with a goal.
Funny old game.

Maybe the players are not been risked , we will never win the cup but promotion is realistic this season

If we sell whiteman  for the amount wanted fair enough, but leaving everyone out today when it’s worth thousands beggars belief?? Obviously not struggling for money one bit...

I think we've played well. Good away performance. Defending well and looking capable on the break.

Why should we be surprised by that?

DM just keeps making us look stupid. Awful team with no creativity at all.

Result? Win 1-0!

Not sure how we won that but we did.

Some great defending and goalkeeping.
A very good work out for the lads after a long absence.

Hope for a decent draw in next round.

Brilliant defensive display, especially in the second half when we were under the cosh. And all without Ben Whiteman  :)

Four central defenders across the back, two full-backs and a striker in midfield and two debutants. I'd call that a good win! :scarf:

Defended brilliantly all of them but Anderson is a f****** brick wall, the captains armband suited him.

Deffo more concerned about more games to play and whether it might impact on our main objective.

Good the new lads got some game time though.

Also decent result with Lincoln and Posh drawing.

3 left backs and 3 centre backs in the 11 and still won.

Great performance from Rovers after long layoff and crucial players missing . Brilliant debuts from Balcombe he was terrific and Simoes showed great promises . With no Whiteman and Smith it is well done the lads.?

Anderson MOM but pushed by a hard working effort from everyone else, rode our luck but it is about time we had a little go for us in a cup competition, because of the attitude shown by everyone it was well deserved.
   Chorley next please.

They will have had Covid and were not fit enough to play.

What a result that is against a good side, who had Armstrong and Elliott to call on from the bench, plus Dack from the start.

Great effort, especially given the absentees from the squad!

They ought to be getting used to it now Dave. That's 2 wins out of our last 3 visits to Ewood Park.

It does make you think the club are taking the Micky out of us,
Denying he’s going anywhere saying the bids are rejected, yet he’s not in the squad

Granted he could be injured but would seem to be a big coincidence

That's an odd position to adopt.

I can guarantee, as of 1 hour ago, that the club have not received any increased offers for BW and that the position remains the same, i.e. those two offers they had have been rejected.

Maybe my position doesn’t seem that odd now, it would be much better surely if the club were honest with the fans.
Not having a pop at martin as I do believe what he tells us is the truth that he’s been told but on this occasion they’ve treated the fans like idiots

It is still odd that you feel the club are taking the mickey. These matters should not be played out in the public domain anyway.

At the end of the day, sooner or later Ben Whiteman will leave DRFC. Get used to it.

I thought you’d be the first to jump to the defence,
The club look like they’ve lied to the fans, that’s not just me who’s saying that before you get all high and mighty, and that’s taking the mickey out of us.
Nobody has ever suggested he won’t leave eventually so not sure why you’re diverting your argument to that

When fans are being asked to dig deep for the club, forfeiting season ticket money, the very least the club can do is make sure our best players don’t leave for a pittance

Let's get this straight.

You jumped to the conclusion 'the club' were taking the mickey on the back of DMs interview earlier in the week (which I also heard) when he said Whiteman was training and then, with him not being in the squad, without reading the explanation from the DFP had already posted, you went ahead with your accusation.

DMs post match interview he gave a perfectly reasonable explanation why he had been training etc.

The words were straight out of DMs mouth, so what basis are were 'the club' taking the mickey?
