  After getting our excellent business done early we hope it's a deathly quiet day for us, I wouldn't be adverse to maybe Williams going out on loan to get some game time as his chances are going to be even more restricted than they are now but that's about it.

 Doubt there's going to be much money spent today by anybody just a raft of loans. Interesting to see Will Grigg looking like he's heading out of Sunderland on loan after a horrid time up there. That's cost them a fortune in the end.

DONE DEAL - Preston sign Stoke defender
We briefly had confirmation that Liverpool have signed Preston defender Ben Davies on a permanent deal.

Preston wrote on their website: "Preston North End have signed Scottish centre half Liam Lindsay on loan from Championship rivals Stoke City.

"The Paisley-born defender has put pen to paper on a deal until the end of the season and takes the No.6 shirt left vacant after Ben Davies completed his permanent move to Liverpool."

But now they have deleted the bit about Davies...

Landed Lewis Wing on loan from Boro till the end of the season .

I thought they might have brought at least three in personally unless they are going to land them in the next hour which seems unlikely .

I know they wanted our ex defender Liam Lindsay from Stoke City but he's gone to Preston for the rest of the season .

Proper tough for Rotherham in the position they are in and the notorious January window .

Glad we've got the year off this time .
