Usually if they're poor it's same for both sides, I can't remember thinking we were up against it so much for years, terrible.

He is a Lincoln fan, surely? that was shocking. I have seen some poor refs in my 35 years as a rovers fan, but by god, he is right up there

Right from the start with his mini-lectures to both free kick-takers and the walls, he looked like a pedantic prat, and so it transpired. Where he got 7 minutes from is a mystery. He fell for every trick in the book and because Oxford were more ready to throw themselves to the ground, they got the lion's share of the decisions. He was completely out of his depth as a ref at this level.

We've played two sides in absolutely top form and beaten them.

The next two I am more worried about - Fleetwood we always seem to struggle against and we are not great at the Stadium of Light.

They won’t as he didn’t give them a penalty. Just about the only thing he got right in the whole game.

Saying that, I see on Tuesday night it is Hull v Lincoln and Peterborough v Ipswich.

yeah that was worst of the lot sum really bad decisions for the feee kick not really a problem with minutes added as I thought 6 must of been 3 or 4 times when players were down and add to that the 6 subs and the 3 goals

I think that Butts knew he had to block the player as he would have had a shot on goal if he wasn’t stopped.
He took the chance on stopping him and luckily it paid off.
Good experienced defending.
That winger who came on as sub was the main danger man in the second half, good player.

To be fair was it Barker who went off for him? Thought he was their danger man 1st half and was surprised when he went off.

We're grinding out wins with players still filling in across the pitch and others not yet match fit or missing all together. Amazingly, we are now only just halfway through our season!

Got loads of games coming thick and fast but the depth looks good. Robertson looks useful and very strong for a young lad
