Mods - feel free to delete the thread I started.

Good to see Sims and Anderson back in, and James continuing at full back, but I’d far rather have had Robertson than Gomes in midfield. Shame that Fej still isn’t fit - hopefully it’s nothing serious.

I like the side but Darren why have selected Gomes again his passing is not good enough, he’s not disciplined enough and you had to take him off at halftime last week. I said the same things then. He is more direct than both Bostock and Robertson but his passing lets him down. I hope he proves me wrong. If Robertson had been selected it would allow Smith to get forward and with his passing would assist our attacks.

Because Smiths in, Gomes will be playing in his best position, attacking midfielder, expecting a much better performance today and hopefully back on the scoresheet

Are you also having a pop at DM Steve.
Surely he knows more about picking the side for this game than any of us supporters.

No he selects the side I have just stated my views on players. It about the team not his interview techniques.

Quote happy with the line up. Everyone has to take responsibility for passing the ball better and finding space to give options.

Once again, there's opportunities here for James to be the spare man by creating an overload on their back line. We just need a bit more composure when I'm and around the area.

If big Tom galvanise our defence and keeper, it's going to be a good game for us.

Good to see Copps back on the bench.

We started the last four or five games well but sadly didn’t keep up the momentum.

Forw sure barmby, let’s hope we can keep this up.
Ref giving some dodgy decisions for Hull.
We don’t know heather Hull will deploy the press yet as we have only had one goal kick.

Great ball in but Balcombe has to do better there.

If, as widely reported, Paul Gerrard is responsible for setting us up from set plays, then maybe he needs to hand over those duties to someone else.
