Butler has just said he’s got through to the 2nd round of interviews. No offence to Butler but how on earth has he got through the that stage. Doesn’t say much about the quality of candidates

I wouldn't imagine Rovers paying compensation for one of these 2 , when according to LH the board are already leaning towards 1 of the first bunch to be interviewed.

There is a tweet from Adam Oxley which says "Andy Butler says he will be involved in a second round of interviews next week to become the permanent manager" - so could be that he isn't necessarily having a second interview but on the other side of the desk?

We aren't at the "final three" second stage yet. The first round of interviews are being concluded on Monday and then the final three will go on from there at the back end of next week.
