Getting Ready for the Great Rovers Reset

Hi folks,

This is likely my last article of the season. After the last few days I am feeling more than a little burned out on the entire football experience, and so this piece serves as something of a personal testimony on how I and I imagine how a few others feel at the moment. Some thoughts on how the season has gone, what it is like watching things unfold the way they have, and a word on what's next both for the club and for ITEN. You can check it out at the link below:

ITEN will be back in the summer, hopefully with some new aspects to our coverage (especially if we can finally get back to attending live games!) and in anticipation not only of a new season but of a whole new era for Doncaster Rovers, but until then it is time to take a break and a step back from writing about the club.

Many, many thanks to those who have read and supported the site this season, through what has been and continues to be a very trying time for all of us. Please let me know your thoughts on the article and how you're feeling heading into the summer and the end of this frustrating campaign for the club.

Been great reading your articles Alias.

It has been a shock to all of us how the team have imploded over the 2nd half of the season when nearly all of us thought the play offs were a certainty in Late January and auto promotion was a serious possibility.

Sure there will be better times ahead, hopefully next season.

I am really looking forward to live sport again in June when we will be able to go to Headingley again, my 2nd home during the summer watching Yorkshire CCC.

Another good read Alias. I think many of us are in need of a rest at the moment. Watching a game on a screen just doesn’t cut it for most of us and when you factor in the performances of late.....we’ll its been hard to watch hasn’t it.
