Dons Down Rovers | ITEN Match Analysis - Wimbledon (H)
« on August 08, 2021, 07:02:18 pm by RoversAlias »
Hi folks,

My analysis of yesterday's home defeat to AFC Wimbledon is now up on the website, and you can check it out at the link below:

https://www.intotheemptynet.com/post/dons-down-rovers-doncaster-rovers-1-2-afc-wimbledon

It's never good to start off with a defeat of course, but it does give plenty to look back on and I've focused in on a few things in this piece - namely the unfamiliarity of the team playing together, the deficiences apparent in midfield and attack, and the need for patience as the Richie Wellens era gets underway.

Please let me know your thoughts - where do you think it went wrong in the main for Rovers yesterday? Who stood out to you, for better or worse? Has the game and result altered your outlook for the season at all?
