I think 13th is a sensible prediction for us, and think it would represent a good consolidation season.

I see the computer says Wimbledon will go down, so us losing at home to them could be a bit worrying for the programmers! Do you think they knew what has been happening here and have taken that into account!!! (I love these predictions with both expert people and sophisticated programs using goodness-knows-what data to come up with apparently serious results.)

I suppose some people take them really seriously which will make the bookies happy.

I wonder whether the 'supercomputer' was an old hack who'd been asked to come up with something to fill an eighth of a page, and took a look at the Bookie"s odds and came up with this!

BettingExpert.Com will have runs a Monte Carlo simulation based on their own ratings and formulated the table. You don’t need a supercomputer to do that! How accurate it is depends on how accurate their ratings are.

There's very little programming put into this "super computer". It's literally just betting odds, which are currently based on size of the clubs.

13th would be seen by some on here as failure. A lack of ambition etc etc.
I’ll take 13th now thank you very much.

Should we be consolidating?  I thought you only did that when going up or down a league not when you've set up home in one?

Consolidation given the departures of McCann/Moore, huge squad upheaval and COVID. The club needs to get on an even keel.
