Perhaps someone on here might be able to help me with this?My partner has recently taken a job with a jeweller. She has worked for just over a fortnight but has found that the early starts and the distance she was travelling was too much for her. She's tired all the time.So she had a chat with the manager and they agreed it wasn't working out. They decided she could leave. Then he informed her she would not be paid for the time she was with them because she was training.It seems outrageously unfair, considering the travel costs.Does anyone know where she stand with this?
