Have we even had an attempt at goal this half.

BBC Sports stats are that we have one shot off target in the second half and none since we went behind in the 52nd minute.   We are OK at keeping the score down but if we can’t muster a shot, we aren’t ever going to win a game.

Matt Smith is awful

Hard to disagree with that. I’ve seen nothing from him that gives me encouragement.

Tried to think of something constructive, but that’s all I could come up with

Well let me help you!
Instead of saying “ MATT Smith is awful”
Try
“ I do hope that MATT Smith gets better as this season progresses”

You really like his first name don't you?

Lol….it’s on auto thingy for some reason!

I think you have to remember we are playing a team full of experienced players and our substitutions have been for 3 kids playing in midfield. We need a  "Proper Mester" in midfield not kids.

Let’s be honest every one of the players on the pitch (before Bossie came on) involved RW recruitment. Does make you start to question it.

No it doesn’t!
He has, and is, recruiting for a thing that will happen in the not too distant future….this is just the prelims……

Most professional footballers can be up and running within a couple of games. From the last few performances hardly any of the incoming players look like they are up to this level of football. There's a couple of games (e.g., Sheffield Wednesday) where the play was better and I'm trying to hold onto that hope.

It would be great if we had someone who had like a role or something who could like pick who goes onto the pitch, so that we wouldn't just have kids in midfield wouldn't it?

Has Vilca had a chance to show anything promising?

Not really, has looked lightweight. Did pop up in the number 10 position once and did slot a nice through ball that would have led to a good chance had defender not got a slight nick. Also played a nice pass down wing for Smith. Seems like he could see a pass and play it but I'm not sure he's the winger he was signed as. Is playing in number 10 position since Bostock came on.

Tut tut!

You know my posts are constructive not knee jerk and definitely “ thought about”….
What you did is throw a little stone over a shielding wall and shouted “ yeah that”

I know your hurting from when I last tore a strip off you……just take it like a man …

Full time 2-1

Positives, we scored
Negatives, we didn’t score enough and never looked like scoring enough. On to Morecambe

Onwards and upwards

Sha66y, your posts are more and more reminding me of a poster from quite a long way away.
They do often read as though they are WUM like.

Hound!
I try do diffuse and deflect the hatred onto myself so that the team don’t get too bad a mauling,
Alas I fear I may be failing , as the hatred for the team seems intricately linked to myself….we are both becoming a pain!!

But I won’t waver whilst I can still find good things to say about our team in their time of need…..and at least try and swerve some of our less tolerant fanbase away from calling for the Managers Head……..it only takes a dissenting ripple to galvanise a tsunami!…..and were  then will we be Hound….

Groups will organise silly marches to push for the removal of all those that they see as failures……our club, our team!

No Hound , though I can’t change a fans perception of how the club is transitioning , roiling blindly in a whole lot of pain…I fear I must at least try to dissuade the more hot headed tempestuous element of these fans to see me as the pariah, the “ thing that’s wrong” ….whilst RW prepares the team for yet another battle we surely must at some point win…..

Was a bit quiet. Much better in the #10 position ahead of Smith.
