The worrying thing is Bolton are terrible and we're 3 0 down

Olowu is only young and has potential but a great man once told me ‘you can’t defend on your bum’. We’re well and truly b*llocksed now, I’ve never thought we were going to get relegated but now I can’t see any light, we’ve got no leaders no centre halves, no grit! I’m dreading the Mansfield game, getting beat by those tossers is just too much to bear.

Before the Lincoln game, I worked out rovers need 4 points out of every three games on average. So a point against Lincoln, nothing tonite, barring some miracle, and a win against burton would be ok.
Unless of course we go on some crazy winning streak. Lol.

If I was a rovers player I’d be saying to the ref, you ve proper f**ked this game up tonight

That's the frustrating thing. It was a well balanced contest before that decision.

Horton not ready for this level
We all love to see youth team players coming through but have to agree, he hasn’t got the pace or the strength yet, people slagged off John at left back last season but there’s no comparison.

Nothing against the lad, but in the games I’ve seen him play he’s conference standard at a push. And therein lies our problems

Gotta feel sorry for the lads.
One moment has turned the game, without question.

Really thought we were the better side BST, took the game to them, & our passing & movement was by far the best all season. If we keep up that level surely our luck will change .

Such a shame tonight, we didn’t deserve this.

Another very good performance from Barlow.

This maybe an unpopular opinion as I agree the decision was dreadful. But the aggression and behaviour from Wellens at the linseman and ref after the first goal probably had an effect. It shouldn't but it certainly didn't help matters. Time and Time again Wellens abuses the officials unjustifiably.

How come then that aggressive behaviour from Wellens puts the referee against us, but aggressive behaviour from Bolton players has the opposite effect? The ref is inconsistent at best.

The 3 goals weren’t down to poor defending, and for 35 mins we were by far the better side

Horton not ready for this level
A ball deflects off you for a goal and all of a sudden "Horton is not ready for this level" I despair of some "supporters".

Salford finished with 9 players on the pitch…but still managed a 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers!

How can you come to the conclusion wellens having a go at the officials was unjustifiable

I agree first 30 mins were good, 1st goal was awful defending was ball watching, 2nd Horton was weak in the tackle and didn't see the third as 2 far away

Because Wellens was berating the official over not calling the goal offside...it wasn't!! Therefore unjustified and he's not long back from a ban.

yet in those 35 minutes that we were on top we failed to score, yet again!! That’s 10 out of 18 league games that we’ve failed to register.

We didnt defend terribly. They scored one complete fluke of a goal in the 2nd half despite have probably close to 80% of the ball.
I think we would have got at least a point from tonight if the ref hadnt been such a knob.

And there's the problem.

We can't score and we can't defend.

The red card was a shocker, but it doesn't change the root of the problem.

Thought we defended well today, as we did on Saturday.
It’s not wellens fault Taylor missed that chance
