Sadlier

Seen on twitter (yes I know) that Portsmouth, Charlton, Bolton are after him.

Without doubt better than a relegation scrap, and they are big clubs. But I hope we at least ask the question.

Immediate upgrade on Hiwula.

As much as I'd want him to, I almost guarantee he will not be coming back.

Worth a loan enquiry?

Not sure what the score is with Warne and him. He’s only played in 11 league games this season and with one exception, has either been a sub or has been subbed, and has managed one goal so far.

No disrespect to Rotherham but I thought he could have done better than there, certainly gave young Horton a lesson at their place

He is obviously of the quality we need, not sure we could afford him though, he will be on a very decent league 1 wage

I’d have thought maybe 5k+ looking at what Taylor and Rowe are on here.
No grounds for this just a guesstimate.

The lampost outside my house would be a upgrade on Hiwula.

Re Sads, cant see him wanting to come back when he wanted to play at a higher level, and the likely scenario is we will be in league 2 next season.

Wages would be an issue also.

The only way I could see Sadlier returning is on loan, with an aim to putting himself in the shop window for a decent transfer in summer.

Problem with that I believe, he could hold out until the end of January looking for a better deal, whereas we need players in ASAP.

A decent player when here before, but I don’t think he will be one of our targets.

We could loan Sadlier unless Rotherham want to sell him. But I believe we would have to pay all his wages so that could be the down fall. He might want to go to a team that is not fighting relegation.

Why would Sadlier want to come back the way a section of our so called supporters vilified him when we played Rovrum

I’m sure that when his move to wherever comes NewDonny might give us a bit of an insight into if there was ever any chance of him ever considering coming back as an option.
I’m sure it would only be to kickstart his career rather than a long term option.

For some reason there is an obsession with ex-players

Sadler was a good player for us when he was here.  Let’s move on and look for something fresh
