Johnson's Flat
« on December 30, 2021, 08:16:49 pm by BillyStubbsTears »
So after the original investigation by the man chosen by Johnson exonerated him over the £200,000 spent on gold wallpaper for his missus, What's App messages emerged which proved beyond doubt that Johnson had lied over what he knew about the source of the funds.

So...the man who Johnson appointed to investigate Johnson has gone back and reinvestigated Johnson and decided he's still not to blame.

Apparently the problem was "process" not the unarguable fact that Johnson lied to him over what he knew.

BST. I genuinely value many of your comments and opinions on here.
But I think you should ease off your obsession with all things Tory and Bojo and his ability to shoot themselves in the foot.
It can’t be healthy for you. And most of us on here don’t give a flying f**k about them.

I care more about the thoughts and comments of BST, a chap who I don’t know and have never met, than the so called leaders of our country.
Because we have at least one thing in common.

NR with all respect you don’t speak for me.
So perhaps you need to alter your post to read “….I don’t give a flying f**k about them”.

I’m not saying he is right by the way but he might be.

There is a notable lack of response to Billy attempting to force his obsessions on everyone just lately. I reckon in 6 or 7 years he’ll have moved on to some other unwitting audience.

Interesting post Belton.
I too have noticed that hardly anyone bothers to back up his posts these days.

The post doesn't need backing up hound. It's all in the OP.

Typical of you and yours that you don't comment on our despicable PM, but make the effort to post, just to disparage the messenger.
Don't you see how wrong that is?

No TT.
I see that the originator of the OP has a considerable hatred of anything Tory and is happy to scour any news article of Twitter post to back up his case.

It is relevant also to back up the post by Belton as my observation is in fact true.

Anybody that doesn't find a lot of Boris's behaviour abhorent and distasteful to say the least is either blind or a WUM.
He is making this country the laughing stock of the world.
Just my opinion of course but anybody wanting to defend his actions and behaviour is welcome to explain why.

BVB, but how do you know that he doesn’t speak for most on here.
I’m not saying he is right by the way but he might be.
Hound I don’t know, but how can NR or anyone else know without carrying out a poll or something.

Semantics I know but NR uses “I”in the first two sentences, which suggests his own opinion, and then states “most of us” which suggests he feels he is speaking for a majority - so who is he speaking for?

He may well speak for most, but as I have indicated, I don’t share his?their? view, and just wanted to make it clear.
Seems reasonable to me!
Thanks

Idler, with respect, this isn’t about how I feel about Boris, it’s about how I feel about Billy and his posts.
I think you are falling into the trap of thinking that if someone is not a sycophant of Billy’s, then they must think Johnson and the current government are wonderful.
I must say, Billy’s done a fantastic job of making people think this way.

I am happy for you to give your opinion on Boris's flat though.
I am not a sycophant of Billy's but cannot stand the hypocrisy of the current government. I would be just as disgusted if it was a Labour government acting in the same way.

Now you're talking nonsense Hound.
There are hundreds of posts from him that have nothing to do with Boris and the Tories.
F*ck me, he's even been known to praise them for some of their decisions on covid.
Best you go back to your comfort zone, sh*t stirring and fence sitting.

Hound and Belton are strange ones. I've found it much more relaxing ignoring their obsessions with misrepresenting what I post but it appears from gold quoting them that they continue to do it. I really don't understand what drives them but I hope they get some satisfaction out of it. They could just try ignoring me as I do them. It's far less taxing.

This. It's got sod all to do with party politics. It's about whether you care about having an unprecedented pathological liar as PM, or whether you just "meh" because you want to believe that they are all as bad as each other.

TT, had I written that post of yours, for certain I would have had certain posters straight at me for attacking the poster rather than the post content.
Maybe you should have a look at yourself with regards to that.
However, addressing your point about him praising the government, of course bst has praised the government every now and again.
He does it so that he, and his supporters, can do exactly what you have done and bring it to the table.
FFS, a massive proportion  of his posts in off topic are anti government rhetoric.

I’ll explain this one again, Billy:
Just because you pretend to ignore me, that doesn’t mean I should react in the same childish manner. If you post something that I wish to comment on, then I will, regardless of your ‘belton is beneath me’ performance.
The fact that you think that me commenting on your posts when you are ‘ignoring’ me makes me strange is quite frightening.
You need your own forum with your own rules for that to work.

Edit: you don’t appear relaxed at all, perhaps you’ll be less stressed if you ‘unignored’ me.

I think Boris is taking the piss regarding the flat and he should make way for a better leader. An opinion I may have come to earlier if there was more impartial opinion out there. But I guarantee you that when Johnson does go, it will all start again and Billy will continue with the same agenda until Labour are back in government. If we are both not dead before then.
