Rovers v Wigan

Looks like this is on today then! I don't envy those braving the cold, but hopefully the team can make it worthwhile for all who do.

No Williams and Hiwula - 2 more injuries or COVID?

Rowe back there again I'm afraid showed our real need for a centre back. Rowe isn't a great centre back and we miss him badly in our midfield.

So no Williams and Hiwula in the squad yet we still haven’t got more players in. I don’t know what GMC and the club are doing. Can’t see any in for Tuesday so it’ll be the same squad again. Knowing that then GMC can’t rate Faulkner as much as Selbyas he wouldn’t have gone on loan.

With the addition of just one new signing, that indeed looks a very weak side and certainly little of any additional strength available on the bench. It is what it is I know but did hope that the team would look just that bit stronger this far into the January window. Oh well, we live in hope.

have to agree with this. I hate criticising the club. But it’s now verging on negligence that we haven’t filled some of these glaring gaps in the squad as a matter of urgency whilst we have the chance. Rowe isn’t the best centre half but is the best midfielder, so we’re handicapped on two fronts.

Always liked Humphrys as a player. I did think he was someone we could have been interested in. Alas not.

Good luck boys  :scarf:

Could be another rough afternoon looking at that line up. How Arsenal are getting approval to call games off because of one covid case and injuries and we can’t seems ridiculous

0-1
Didn’t take long. Shocking defending. But how many times have we said that this season. Nothing changes. Horton so out of touch defending.

If only we had chance to sign an experienced, dominating centre half to organise them…………

Come on, we can't afford to compete with the likes of Rochdale.

We’ve failed to stop a single cross so far. They’re caning us down the flanks. It’s embarrassing

Well, Downing is on the pitch for Rochdale who are 2 down already

I still have SOME optimism, although it is rapidly diminishing.
