Tough (for me) today

Note line 3 where I was foxed totally so put in a 5 letter word with none of the letters I already had in it (in hope desperation) and got 1 Amber making 3 in total

Line 5 took forever as like yesterday I could not find a single word that would fit ... then I did lol

No saying it will be tough for others as it depends which way they come at it

As usual I have given no clues as to the word.... don't want to ruin it for others

I’m definitely finding it better choosing a random word, rather than the same word, as my daily opening gambit.
I found using the same word every day, seemed to limit my thought processes thereafter.
Maybe it’s all in my mind?

Yes maybe I'm getting to that stage because after my start word I then have second words depending on what the first one delivers lol

Sometimes Pound sometimes Toxic either will have used 4 vowels by Row 2

Today I was foxed after Row 2 and I ignored both the 2 ambers just to try for inspiration

I am doing them at 4 30 to 5 00 so that's my excuse lol

In truth I should have Gorritt in 3 ... There could only have been 1 word that fitted ... But when it wasn't right I spotted a second

I was in the same position on my second guess. Managed to find a word with all 4 possibilities for the second letter for my 3rd guess then got it on the 4th

... at 2 1 and last guess coming I realized I had it cracked . I was sure I knew the first 4 letters BUT any one of 3 letters could be correct for the last letter

All 3 would make well known words and luckily I chose the right one

I had the last three letters and figured out the order the must be in. Didn't make any sense for a while. Then as it does with this game inspiration struck.

I’ve been doing the Wordle Archive and last night, after 50 successful attempts I fell at the 51st hurdle. Not an unusual word, just too many options after I got 3 correct letters.

Where is every one today? Sat by the tv waiting for Johnson and Sunak to resign? You’re wasting your time as they won’t be leaving anytime soon, as that would take honour and neither of the privileged t**ts has any of that.
