Anderson as long he prove his fitness the problem with his foot can keep occurring or can go
Okenabirhie and John would really depend if they can get back and prove their fitness and we ensure that they will continue to be fit.

So those three as long as they can prove they are fit to play and they wanted to stay.

You keep Anderson every day of the week. Yes, he was not the same after that injury last season but compared to what we have innumerably better.

Agree with that, both in terms of personnel, and fitness being the key issue.

Sorry about that Seaman’s contract finish in the summer I believe.
Faulkner not sure how long contract he was given.

I think Seaman may have an extra year and that we also have an option on Okenabirhie.

It's should be a very good L2 squad. Don't see any players we have contracted or options on leaving. Don't think the way we've played this year is inducive to attracting offers.

If we keep Anderson and Fej we really need to look at centre midfield and probably left back unless there's plans for Rowe to go back there (a waste imo unless we have a very very good midfield)

Assuming Seaman, Anderson, Fej, Horton and Jones extend i make it 19 senior players and we could maybe extend Barlow's contract as a squad player who could improve. A decent start and means hopefully we can focus on quality over quantity which we haven't been able to do for a while.

Keep Anderson obviously and from what I saw first half at Morecambe would welcome Gardner he’d be perfect for a league two scrap

Don’t think much chance of Bostock or Cam John sticking around in League Two.

If we can keep Anderson then we should - he strengthens the spine of the team significantly. I’d like us to keep Cameron John, but I doubt he’ll stay.

Building a squad is obviously still a work in progress. Priorities in the summer as I see it are:

Goalkeeper - we need someone established
Left back
Plugging the midfield gaps vacated by departing loanees
A creative winger in the Josh Martin mould
A target man to give us a different option upfront

Ravenhill, Barlow, Horton, Blythe and Greaves definitely not up to league football IMO.

Midfield next season is a concern. We will have contracted Clayton (33). Rowe (33). Close (25 but seemingly body of 75). Clearly not going to be playing a pressing game with those three!

I don’t quite agree with that, we can supplement them with a loanee or two, to get legs in there.

Personally and I suspect a bit of stick to come this way, I’d not be sad if Anderson doesn’t come back, shadow of his former self.

I’d love John to stay, but that’s just because of his potential.

They were contracted players I was talking about. We might sign some younger permanent midfielders or we might loan some younger midfielders, but our contracted midfielders for next season are what they are, as above.

You can only really judge the players that have been here some time, the new arrivals judge in the summer. Going on what I’ve seen, I see a new team needing to be built otherwise we will keep falling. We need an energy and ability that we haven’t seen this season.

Keep Olowu , Close, John, Horton, Faulkner, Okenbirhie, Anderson, *Charlie Seaman forgot to put him in.

Release/Sell Barlow, Jones, Knoyle, Bottomley, R.Williams, Bostock, Rowe, Blythe, Greaves, Gardner, Hasani, Taylor, Hiwula, Dodoo, Ravenhill.

Some of the youth players could yet win themselves a deal for next year, but so far only a few have been anything other than average at best.
We need a mix of experience and youth if the worst happens. We need a team that stays fit and can build some understanding.

Some of the more experienced players won’t fit into a more energetic team and they won’t want to drop to that level either. We can build a better squad with their wages off the bill.

How do the limitations ( salary cap) work for clubs that are relegated .If our players are under contract with no contractual relegation reduction clause is that. acceptable ?
