Medical incidents at footy matches
« on February 06, 2022, 08:06:31 am by normal rules »
I spoke to my dad on the phone last night about the footy.
We have differing opinions on covid and vax. He is 75 and still unvax.
He raised the point about one or two games yesterday being disrupted due to medical incidents again.
He is convinced these incidents are vax related. ( he reads the daily Mail and believes a certain Matt le tissier)

Has he got a point?
It does seem games are being disrupted more and more with in crowd incidents where people are having to receive medical attention.
Or is it that we are just more sensitive to people falling ill in public?

Some words on it here, more of an opinion piece that facts though. The writer believes it's a case of up until recently any incidents were dealt with quietly whilst the game was going on, but this season they're now stopping the game which obviously draws attention to it.

If a tree fell in the woods and no one was around did it make a sound?

Well that Rovers fan in the away end at Leicester sadly passed while the game continued and a fair few of us had no idea it was happening until afterwards.

Fairly sure they lost one of their own the same day too.

It does seem to be a couple every match day at the minute doesn’t it.

Personally i think it is particularly concerning and needs investigating. However, this won't happen because any potential negative links to adverse affects and vaccinations won't ever be aired or discussed in the MSM.

Not saying it is anything to do with the vaccine but it is a possibility. The frequency of these incidents is alarming.

Perhaps it is worst during the winter months too where some people who have to sit down for 90 minutes inside a football stadium in plunging temperatures will be susceptible to circulatory difficulties and thus an increased risk of cardiac events.

For balance, having a previous Covid infection could also leave a person susceptible to adverse events but it would just be interesting to find out how many of these people who are succumbing at games have been jabbed or have had the actual virus (that they know about) in the past.

There is a problem now though IMO and until questions are asked and investigations undertaken, there will always be speculation as to the cause.

The one at Oxford was a head injury so certainly nothing to do with the vaccine.

One at Newcastle v Villa today. Not sure if there were any yesterday across the leagues.
