Performance was good today considering the ability they have. One concern for me is we’ve signed Clayton and he can’t even get 5 min off the bench in a game crying out for experience to see a result out and slow the game down.

Concerned he’s not just here till seasons end it’s till next summer. Needs to start contributing imo

I think this might say as much about McSheffrey as it does Clayton and his obvious lack of fitness. We waited far too long to make changes today. It was baffling.

Clayton is nowhere near fit, we've seen that already. He would be a fantastic signing if fully fit and able to play but when signed he hadn't had a game in a year. It'll take more than 3 weeks to get him going sadly.

Losing Bostock and Close for the bulk of the season has really killed us because we've had no real midfield all year.

Not expecting him to be match fit but if he’s not ready to contribute from the bench why sign him.
