As above I thought he might be an ex Player and might be ok

He should be an ex Ref as he was a shambles

1 he saw and gave a huge pull back after about 5 minutes and that just has to be a Booking at any time

2 Number 11 over the Ball with a shocking tackle and was worth a Red

3 Number 9 was a complete spoiler and Ref let him get away with murder all game Pathetic

4 What the hell was happening in last 5 to 10 minutes

Nil

Shocking absolutely clueless, agree with DW’s summary. Only thing I’d add I’d that Stockley should have had another card for elbowing Younger

Yes he should and that Ref was looking at Number 11 after that out challenge as well

He looked to have tripped one of our lads and yet Ref waved play on because it would have been a second yellow imo

Others near me said there was minimal contact so that may be me being biased

Question here for anyone in the West Stand.
That tackle near the dugouts in the first half when there was a bit of a commotion afterwards, it looked like a two footed red card type of challenge from my seat in the SE corner but to be fair, probably too far away to be certain.
The reaction by our players indicated that it was a bad one.
Anyone have a better view and what do you think.

I know I have reputation for going low but 12 people have given this bloke Nil 1 gave him 2 and 1 gave him  4 so opinion was .....  6 points from 14 votes

In my Reply #2 above (point 2) I said tackle was over the top and deserving of a Red but in truth that was my opinion seeing it that once. It looked bad but of course there are no replays of controversial incidents and like you I am left thinking I am right but not knowing for sure

I did say at HT if people watch Goals on Sunday or similar they will see 6 "tackles" like that every week and 6 will attract Red Cards

Realise that doesn't answer your question either ... Sorry Hound

I didn't think it was a red card challenge although our players did their best to try and gain a numerical advantage.

It’s funny that you should say that matey because I said the same thing on Saturday.
Rowe in particular was very aggressive.
It is the type of thing that I have seen other clubs players to when playing against us and the recent Olowu red card incident springs to mind.
Maybe our lads have been too soft in the past?
