The Leadmill

The Leadmill in Sheffield have been given a years notice of eviction. A cornerstone of SY entertainment threatened. Seen some amazing bands in there over the years and am going to see Sea Power in a couple of weeks in there as well.

Inspiral Carpets the night after my ex left me was a particular highlight.

That'll be a massive blow to Sheffield.

Patsy Kensit once rubbed up against my back in the Leadmill.

Inertia. Have a listen if you've got Deezer or Spotify. My lad is the drummer.

I've had many great nights in the Leadmill, not just bands, I used to go to their club nights too, Graeme Park used to DJ there... All so ago.

This would be a huge kick in the teeth for Sheffield, surely it can't happen?

They say Patsy was used to rubbing up to big Knobs  ;) ;)
Pun intended BST, couldn’t resist.

Sexual harrassment, it’s never too late to report it

Dominic Madden is the one responsible for this (Londoner, shock). Turning a successful independent venue into another chain

Not just folk on here who you get rubbed up the wrong way by, then?

Seen many bands there over the years. The last being The Killers just as they were breaking in the Uk.

Last band I saw there were The Struts. Amazing band at an amazing venue. They can’t let this magical place die.
