Rovers losing 5-0 is only 25/1. That says an awful lot about the current team.

i wonder if we should play Wycombe at their own game today against Rotherham wher both their matches finished unsurprisingly 0-0,  i remember the commentator saying the ball was off the pitc more than it was on  it. Wycombe had "Cowley - Lincoln style" "fake inuries " against Rotherham to break the game up think they deserve some of their own medicine

But let us not forgot Wycombes Saturday defence can suddenly become a Sunday league defence

they only beat Morcambe at home 4-3 with a last minute winner
they were 3-1 up away at fleetwwod but only drew 3-3

efl trophy   Wycombe Wanderers 0 Burton Albion 5

Wycombe Wanderers 1 Ipswich Town  4

Wycombe Wanderers 2 AFC Wimbledon 2   both teams scord in the 90+ minutes

Morecambe 3 Wycombe Wanderers 2

and this is the stupidity game i was after

SAT 19 FEB 2022LEAGUE ONE
Wycombe Wanderers  5  Cheltenham Town  5
Obita (26'minutes, 31'minutes), Hanlan (33'minutes), Vokes (68'minutes, 69'minutes)
FT
HT 3-1

so i have made a pretty strong case that they cant handle "rabble"  teams like "us"

if they could beat rabble teams they would be a lot higher in the table

you never know we might get a crazy result (big win today)

amazing what "alleged" weaknesses you think you find when you do your homework

oh and Hartlepool knocked them out of the fa cup

We have to start scoring regardless of the quality of the opposition.. otherwise what minimal chance we have of staying up is worthless.

it's ironic you did your post at exactly the time i was doing my "war and peace bit" showing Wycombe can hardly beat never mind hammer rabble teams ...... they don't have a hammer in their toolkit  :suicide:

9' CHANCE ROVERS!

Lovely ball through the middle of the park from John Bostock who finds Martin. Martin's resulting shot is just inches wide of Stockdale's goal.

60% possession to Rovers so far, ‘though probably a meaningless stat. so early in the game.

Wycombe are a notoriously low-possession, low-passing team to be fair. Hopefully it will play to our strengths, if we have any.

The defensive line is basically Mitchell.... nothing in front of him. Every ball in the box is dangerous.

27' CHANCE ROVERS!

Matt Smith's shot from the edge of the area is tipped out for a corner by Stockdale.

7 points adrift of Fleetwood, who have two games in hand.

I am afraid it will need 8 points due to the goal difference.

Nah still 15 points to play for etc etc. Easy games coming after the tough run etc.
