Remember seeing in the news that a member of Chansiris family business got done for insider trading recently. It's long been a mystery where his money actually comes from. Makes a mockery of FFP rules.

I see they have been given just 2000 tickets for the game at Sunderland.

Complete mockery of financial fair play, there are going to be tears from either or both of Owls and Sunderland

Wednesday will reciprocate on the return leg so one big club will still be in league 1

Even worse than that, MK Dons have split Wycombe's allocation across two different corners of the stadium

In the season the Blades were promoted to the Prem, Owls wage bill was much higher.

Chansiri just doesn't get value for money out of his sports washing but doesn't seem to care, same as paying his staff on time.

Whilst Owls were better than us, they weren't £15m better!

Maybe not but we looked £15m worse.

More trouble if they don't get promoted.

Burnley face 'significant' loan repayment if relegated, accounts show - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61317194

we don't know how lucky we are . Lovely little bit at the bottom  " lent 10m to a fellow company"

8% interest pm a £65m loan.

Nice bit of business there for somebody. That sounds like a cash-rich company using the football club as a financial vehicle to extract interest payments WAY above the market rate. And then cover themselves by demanding repayment of the capital if the money hosepipe gets cut off.

Burnley are now in the hands of foreign owners. Now I am not saying they all have ulterior motives of course but Burnley were recently in very safe hands for many years and were such a well run club.
Now what does the future hold if they go down. Will they be able to bounce back if they have huge debts that need servicing. The writing is on the wall. Another club which could end up in serious trouble.

Just shows there are many people who should be careful what they wish for.
When Bramall calls it a day will our next owner or owners look after DRFC with financial stability.
Our current incumbents will do their best to see the club gets a safe pair of hands but there is no guarantee.
