You can’t blame anybody for wanting to better themselves. Up in Scotland it isn’t out of question that the side you sign for, qualifies for Europe. It can build careers going up there.

having read all the above comments   nobody has mentioned his personal life

did he have a girlfriend - wife- or "partner" (just covering all bases there !!) before the injury

has his "status" changed over the last year ?

has he any children ?

After the injury Joe's had, I'd be quite surprised to see him at any sort of level anytime soon, might have to restart in non-league and work his way back up.

Have to agree with Jonathan on this one DBR and any one else who thinks JW’s heart wasn’t in it.
Where is the evidence to substantiate that?

He has been a good pro for us and always gave 100%
Hope he makes a full recovery and would love to see him in a Rovers shirt again.
If it is not to be then good luck to him wherever he ends up.
