If a connection can be made between trump and the rioters he's gone. That is the question.

Watching the hearing yesterday it looks like some are plucking up the courage to say what went on. He is in it up to his eyeballs

If he was attempting a coup, as president, would that be classed as treason?

Probably, but if went to court they'd pitch the charges at a level they think they'll be able to make stick. There's plenty of offences to choose from.

I reckon he's got a good case for pleading insanity as his defence.

Not if he wants to have another shot at being President.

Even as little as ten years would effectively mean life.

''Seth Meyers on January 6 testimony: ‘Even Fox News seemed dazed by how devastating it was’''

He's not that funny but the clips from fux noos sprinkled throughout are astonishing.

''Robert Engel and Tony Ornato, the Secret Service agents who were in the car, are reportedly prepared to testify that they were not assaulted by Trump and he did not try to grab the steering wheel.

“We certainly would say that Cassidy Hutchinson has testified under oath,” Kinzinger said. “We find her credible, and anybody that wants to cast disparagements on that, who were firsthand present, should also testify under oath and not through anonymous sources.”''

Nope.
Because the Republican party will string this out till they win control of the House in November. Then they will shut down the investigation.

Because that is the modern Republican Party. Doesn't matter if their President tried to stage a coup. He's their man so they will protect him. And chances are the Kitson will be back in the White House in 30 months time.

And if you want confirmation if how utterly batshit the modern Republican Party is, this woman was Republican Governor of South Carolina and Trump's Ambassador to the UN. And despite having an accounting degree, here she is failing sub-GCSE maths.
