Reece James

Reuniting with DM at Hillsborough on loan for the season. I always thought he was a good lad at league one level but didn’t see him as a regular in the Championship & that’s what’s happened - obviously he’ll be hoping for a promotion with Wednesday then a perm contract thereafter.

Good call! He’s just signed for them permanently even though Moore has left.

Signed for Steve Evans at Rotherham. Decent signing but doesn't seem an obvious Evans signing. Under 6'6 and can play football.

Unfortunately they look like they mean business next season, was hoping it was the start of the Millers decline!

A decline for Rotherham is always something to look forward to but Evans does have a good track record and if he is backed (and probably will be) I reckon they will have a good season.

Their owner has built a brilliant legacy for himself, along with doing as much as he can to put back into the community using his fortune

With the signing of Clarke-Harris (arguably the best League 1 striker of the past few years) I think we can go a bit further than the owner 'probably' backing SE.

Giving Steve Evans Tom Eaves and Clarke-Harris in League 1 is basically like giving him nuclear launch codes.

Decent amount of comment around that is along lines of JCH isn’t a typical Evans  striker. He doesn’t work hard enough off and around ball, and that is Evans demand of his forward players. At 32 I think, he ain’t going to be changing his game either.

JCH is hard working.

JCH is 30 in July, if he gets motivated he’ll get 20+ goals this and love him or hate him Steve Evans can motivate players
