Anyone seen what it was? Doesn’t seem to be shown anywhere.

My guess would be 6.200

Ok thanks. Bit disappointing if it was under 6.000

Last season was much emptier and reporting more.

We haven't sold as many STs this year either sadly even at the reduced prices.

I haven’t bought one this year but that’s because I’m going to miss 3 months so it wasn’t worth it, will be getting either a five or ten match pass depending on how many home games are left when I will be fit to go

Concourse and bar definitely felt busier than an average home game last season.

I think the east stand and the south looked and felt fairly full. The west stand seems to get less and less but maybe thats just me sitting in the east so it's more obvious

Need to remember as well, crowds are normally down a bit in the school holidays cos people are away, I wasn't there today myself but the south looked fairly full on twitter.

I'd take coming from 1 down to win 2-1 in injury time every week till the day I die!!

Didn't really look too hard at the East stand but looked fairly empty, didn't notice the usual junior teams in there.

Potentially clashed with a few junior tournaments with it still being the holidays.

The west was fuller than the east. Its hard to judge when you are sat in it.

After the last 18 months, is there any wonder crowd numbers are dwindling? We have to start turning things around on the pitch now, it’s up to the Club to get things sorted.

People will return eventually, but it will take time. We just need an extra bit of quality here and there and it will get better.

Not sure if this has been suggested before but is it time to start shutting some of the stands? Less than 6000 in a 15000 stadium is a bit ridiculous.

It’d make it a better atmosphere I reckon having more people concentrated together and you wouldn’t need to open all the kiosks etc.

I realise it’s too late now given season tickets have been sold but I’m surprised we keep opening all 4 sides for such small crowds.

We put a few wins together, get the East stand full of junior teams and the stadium will look alright. There won't be many away followings as low as that also

That's a terrible idea, who cares if it's not being filled, you want us to look like a complete joke we start closing stands, just let things be!

Fair play, if you're happy to sit through performances like that good on you. Me personally I would like to see a tad more entertainment for my money, & to see what kind if football our manager us trying to achieve!!

Don’t forget the current economic situation too..  it’s a 160 mile round trip for me and with petrol so high there’s no way I’m coming 2-3 times a month..  utilities are rising significantly again in October and weekly food shopping is still costing more..

Sadly for many that means no or very little football..

Not sure reporting is right - it was much busier than most home games last season pre-kickoff. South stand a lot more full than most home games last season also. East looked very empty though

Our attendances will improve if we keep winning at home, always have done & always will do, the floating Donny fans will only come to see a winning team, we could be playing like Man City but unless we are winning they wont come.

Sorry but a stadium that’s 60%+ empty already looks a joke.

People will have to prioritize and eat

Drinking , meals out , socialising such as watching football will HAVE to be cut back or cut out.

In Pub last Sunday (and it's a very good one and well attended usually and there were 8 people at 13 . 30 and that too tells a story

Pubs like Football may not recover their customers once they (the customers) have taken a trial or enforced break from "the action"

A bit " no shit Sherlock " but it's here now

Why does it look a “joke”.?

We are in the 4th division but only 8 years ago were in the second.  In a few years we could be back there and our stadium is proven to be an ideal size for us.

Anyway, it’s what happens on the pitch that counts, not the number of empty seats you can see..

A joke, my arse.!

It would appear a smart thing to do. Shut a stand save a load on stewards turnstile staff etc etc But it doesn't look great.

That said you'd think some stands were closed anyway so don't think we should care about how it looks too much.

Start doing well and it'll get busier. After last season there was always going to be a drop off. It was horrid football every week people won't pay to watch that
