Not sure if this has been suggested before but is it time to start shutting some of the stands? Less than 6000 in a 15000 stadium is a bit ridiculous.

It’d make it a better atmosphere I reckon having more people concentrated together and you wouldn’t need to open all the kiosks etc.

I realise it’s too late now given season tickets have been sold but I’m surprised we keep opening all 4 sides for such small crowds.

That's a terrible idea, who cares if it's not being filled, you want us to look like a complete joke we start closing stands, just let things be!

Sorry but a stadium that’s 60%+ empty already looks a joke.
No,the queing for catering is a joke now, imagine how bad it will be if you shut some of the stands? The east stand provides a good match day experience for lots of families, the coperates and overflow for big away followings, the south stand is our version of a kop, where our fans that like to be more vocal and have more of an atmosphere and pay a little less, the west stand serves the middle of the road fans and the disabled, that only leaves the away stand, which could be closed and house the away fans in the west stand and give them an away day to remember!Bad idea IMO.

Season ticket sales have held up really well so far, and show very little between last season and this.

But its too early to judge just yet, sales are still going well and with an early start to the season, school holidays and annual holidays taking place a better judge of the situation will be in a few weeks time when ST sales start to drop off. Only then it will be possible to do an accurate comparison.

We’ve probably reached the core support now though? Anyone now with a season ticket after the disaster of last season must be the hardest core of supporter. Quite good news actually if this is our baseline support.

Did you attend many matches at Belle Vue?

I would actually like to see the North stand open to pay on the day Rovers fans, i can't see the point in having such small followings as what Sutton provided us with yesterday being given the whole of the North stand, Stick them in the north east corner and have home fans in all four ends of the ground, why give anyone even a small advantage, get the ground buzzing from every corner and try to make it a fortress for away teams, especially in this division.

The club couldn’t have done any more with the pricing of the season tickets and multi-game match packages. Every time I tell people how much mine cost they’re amazed.

They could have marketed it much better. However, the answer is simple winning games and entertaining.  Do that and the crowds will tick up, simple.

That our bottom base is now 5500 is good, it used to be half that.

Relative to the football served up I reckon.

Imagine if they'd not have done the reductions. It really is down to the football now. These prices 15 years ago would have had the KM full week in week out.

Absolutely nothing to do with each other.

Decent gate to be fair, just hope the performances improve in line with the results.

It's not a decent gate. We've now been overtook by Grimsby and Mansfield by nearly 1k fans. The problem also is a lot who jumped on the bandwagon were Leeds fans who are now back in the prem

One small point on the attendance is that our ground holds roughly 6,000 more than both Field Mill and Blundell Park so when you see videos/photos it seems more. Plus our ground is far superior to both those

You’ve got to look at the fact that we are coming off the back of one of our worst performing seasons in our history and the other two are coming off a promotion and a playoff campaign. Two very different momentum’s. Should we start to do consistently well, people will come back.

Plus there were literally no away fans on sat. Tranmere will have taken a few to Mansfield and Northampton a few to Grimsby to swell the gates

It's easy to point at our attendances, the same sort of thing was being said when we had nine thousand fans roughly, " Its a disgrace a town the size of Doncaster cannot fill the ground" was common.
We are what we are, would you rather us be a big club and have 54 minutes last night on football heaven talking about how the Wendies still owe season ticket money to supporters for the first year of Covid, and how they are now banned from having a season ticket for daring to try and get their £850 back through the courts when the club failed to pay the money back.
That is what I call a small club, no ethics.
