Ticket office staff
« on August 25, 2022, 08:34:34 pm by Panda »
The ladies in the ticket office always do an amazing job and i personally feel that this is one of the best run parts of the club. Whenever i have an issue or a query they always get back to me asap and go out of their way to help whatever the problem and buying tickets is easy with a phone call.

Ideally i'd like to buy away tickets for example online but for some reason this isn't possible. Maybe this would make it easier for the ticket office staff instead of having to answer the phones?

I always get away tickets sent out to me due to not living in the Doncaster area and they always arrive within days, often the next day!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to them anyway for making my life a lot easier when it comes to ticketing.

The catering side of the club need to take a long hard look at them and maybe they could learn a thing or two.

Couldn’t agree more. The ladies. in there are superb & try their upmost to keep us all happy. Nothing appears too much trouble & they are a fantastic part of the behind the scenes team at our club. Well done for highlighting these ladies I say.

I suppose it’s all about different experiences isn’t it? I’m afraid to say that I have found one or two of them quite rude - unable to accept responsibility when mistakes were made on their part.
Perhaps I’m just unlucky.

On the whole, I think they are very helpful and polite however I did experience one of them being rather rude and abrupt on the phone to me when I purchased my Bradford tickets. I live outside of Doncaster so requested that they would be sent to me. to which the lady on the phone told me was not possible and I must pick them up at the ticket office. Before I could even respond the phone had been put down. Luckily, I was in Doncaster the week before the game so could collect but for future games, this won't be possible.
Like I say though on the whole they have been very helpful in the past and 1 bad experience won't change my view on them being a credit to the club.

Very courteous and helpful to me when I couldn't get to the Stockport game due to a back spasm occurring as I was about to set off for the game.
No problem re-arranging my paid for ticket to a game to suit me.
Managed to get to the Salford game, and glad I did.

100%; top team they are.

Always helpful and always recognise me as living down South and ask if it's a post job, a collect from the keepmoat or send to the away club.

Kind and considerate.

I think I have had a couple of negative experiences with probably the same person, it's like she resents you been there, is abrupt, negative and unhelpful.
One of the other ladies is the polar opposite, smiley, friendly and can't do enough for you, I'd say she is more representative of the staff there in the main.

Sounds like this particular lady should be working front of house in a GP surgery Beast

There is one lady i have spoken with a few times, i think she is new. She was so friendly and down to earth that i was a bit taken aback as i'm not used to that level of service and niceness these days from most places i visit.

Just a thought for some who have had a problem could it be that they are responding to the attitude of the customer they are dealing with?
I have never had a problem with the TO staff always found them very helpfull

Been in this morning and yet again a fast and easy service, it always astounds me that they seem to remember who everybody is, I’m sure it’s because most of us have been going years and it’s a ‘case of same old faces’ but never have to give my name, always get asked how my little one is after taking her to buy her first ticket a few years ago, something you definitely wouldn’t get at a big club, you can’t pay for that, I appreciate some people don’t care about it but it definitely makes me feel more connected to the club.

I'm not sure how a quick conversation "I'd like to purchase some Bradford tickets please" followed by me providing my membership details and then asking if they could possibly be sent to my home address comes across as me having a poor attitude?

However, if I am missing something then please enlighten me?

No, I always go in with a positive attitude, I've known most of the staff over the years and get on with them. I know when somebody isn't a people's person, it stands out like a sore thumb.

Whoever the unfriendly person is, it's definitely not Tracey, Suzanne, or Louise.

That's an absolute certainty.

I have bought hundreds of tickets over the years and always found the staff very friendly, helpful and efficient.
I am usually asked if I want them posting or picking them up.
Perhaps the unhelpful person some encountered was just temporary holiday or maternity cover.

For the record, I have never had any online/telephone issues - only ever in person ones: like being told I should have arrived earlier to avoid the printer ‘freezing’
For context, I was in the queue at 2.30; paid for my ticket at 2.45 and had to watch many others
pay and receive their tickets after me. The lady who served me was apologetic, but was told by some battle axe that I would have to wait because printing another ticket would mess up the system.
At 3.05 I asked again (quite rightfully frustrated) then someone else intervened and quite simply printed off another ticket.
