Not looking forward to this. Routinely horrible decision maker

Zero only because minus points are not available. Usual fare from SS warns a player then turns his back on them to allow them to continue. I assume the law has changed regarding kicking the ball away.
Dangerous play shoving our player off the pitch.
How he only came up with 4 minutes in the second half amazes me

Zero .... exactly what I expected from him

He's not smart enough to try to let the game flow

Zero.
The way he pretends to challenge time wasting then deliberately turns his back to the situation so he doesn’t have to make a decision was so noticeable.

Agree but he witnessed that bloke heave the ball into NW corner and did diddly squat

Refs should show a Yellow every time they see it and it SHOULD stop

I joked on way out - well it was even Steven for 2 minutes we were on top for 28 minutes and for the other 60 the ball wasn't in play

Am I correct in thinking that making a substitution should add 30 seconds to the game?
If so, there were nine subs so that alone should have added four and a half minutes, unless making three at the same time only adds 30 seconds, but it did take much longer than that.
I remember their keeper standing totally still for 20 seconds before taking a goal kick having been told to get a move on by the ref.
Not forgetting the number six laying down when the ball had been cleared at a time we were piling on pressure.
The ref called the trainer on but then number six realised he would have to go off after “treatment” so got up and the ref told the trainer not to bother.
A good 30 seconds at least taken up there.
As has been mentioned too, surely their player should been carded for lumping the ball into the NW corner of the stand after it had gone out of play.

I do a Comp every game with Raithy my Seat Buddy and we debate stoppage time and how it is derived and I asked him " its supposed to be 30 Seconds per Sub but when a Team does a treble substitution does a Ref add 90 seconds" and we didn't know

I watched the Stevenage treble and it took amazingly only 40 seconds for the 3. Rovers did a double completed in 30 seconds

He guessed 4 mins added time and I went 5 and now Trail 11-7 so to me it looks like Ref maybe times the actual stoppage for Subs (or this one did) but maybe others don't

On 30 seconds for a goal I reckon they all stick to 30 seconds because Stevenage from scoring to celebrating  to kicking off again was way way past 1 minute and he gave 2 minutes total but there was a fairly long injury and the confrontation of players after their blokes cynical challenge and eventually Yellow Card

.... and I say let's have a fixed 30 minutes per half

What would we talk about. No controversies re fake injuries tactical injuries long long goal kicks subs crawling off (even that one Notts County player turning to Ref to shake his hand picking up a second yellow so the new Player had to sit back down) lengthy goal celebrations like rowing boats Morris dancing rocking babies all "gone" in a flash

And we would get the benefit of it because most games have much less than 60 minutes NOW so we get the same action but loads less frustration

One other thing gone the Added time debates as its never 6 minutes when you are winning but should have been at least 9 minutes when you are losing. Also GONE though it would be the end of my Added time Comp lol
