Bit better that
« on October 22, 2022, 05:14:51 pm by Redroy »
Had a pretty clear way we wanted to play. It was nice to see players trusted to try and play football although it is going to expose some of the quality of our squad, particularly recent signings.

Looking forward to Tuesday now.

Far better than recent games, in only two training sessions

First half was terrible again, getting a point away from home with a new manager is clouding your judgment, Crewe ran out of steam

First half of the first half was dreadful, no doubt. Second portion of it was decent. Happy to be able to see what we are trying to do. Hopefully will improve on the ball in time. Bit different from how they've been asked to play over past year.

I take it we were fitter than them then?

i can't agree it was any better, for a hour of that match we were completely awful, once we brought the 2 subs on we improved, and actually thought we might nick another goal

I’d say it was a much improved performance on the Carlisle game which has to be the barometer

Not really, we just didn’t run for the first 70 minutes

I'd say it was no difference to previous games. Poor first half with improvement in the 2nd.

Not being critical. It's what I was expecting.

The players skill levels are pretty woeful. And think Danny will need to bring on his own type of players to fill in the weak links.

Let's put it I into perspective. If Gary was still manager and we put that performance in then there still would be uproar.

Think some people will need to realise that some of these players are poor and the new coach however good he is won't get much out of these.

The players skill levels obviously arent woeful as they are professional footballers.
That was a better performance than Carlisle, barrow and Hartlepool and that’s a fact.
Even a quick look at the stats prove that

Biggins sounded decent on commentary

the problem is the midfield having no movement and not trying to get forward biggins was the only one who did at leat attempt to get forward

We have the players they need organisation and freedom to express the ability, they have in the right areas. Hopefully the new manager will give us both things.
