They should be no cancellation at these lower league clubs in the 21st century, other than snow, if a club can’t cope with -5 temperatures then they need to learn how to get over the issue, not that hard.
Every season we go through this when we get a game called off because to the cold weather, people coming on here say we should install unsoiled heating. As people have said it’s expensive to install and run. If I remember correctly a few years ago it was approximately £5000 a week to run, well with the vast increase in electricity prices it ain’t going to be any cheaper now. So all those wanting install, how many of you are going to put your hand in your pocket and pay for it? My guess is non of youCOYR

Barrow game is still on. Fair play to them.

At approx 100 grand to install, are you willing to pay for it. At the level, DRFC, are playing it is not financially viable for the Rovers to install and run. When we are back in the championship and earning a lot money from gate and tv then it may be worth while at the moment it ain’t, unless you are going to dig into your own pocket and pay for it.COYR
That's how it goes. After building up some impetus last week, with the opportunity of a very possible 3 points today, we now have an enforced matchless spell, and we all know how that goes.I'm now expecting a pumping at Tranmere on Boxing Day.
It’s been called off before 10.00 on the day of the match, yes like others I’m disappointed but better now than say 12.30 when the majority of people would be making final preparations or even travelling. We should install under soil heating, expensive to install and run when the money could be used for player budgets. I hope everyone now enjoys a lovely Saturday being dragged around the shops for the right bit of tinsel or the special mince pies that Auntie Flo likes
