Worksop vs Stockton

Get your big coat on and get down to the Windsor Foodservice Stadium on Saturday afternoon as the table-topping Tigers take on second-placed @stockton_townfc!

With Rovers being off it’s a chance to watch some local footy. Possibly Faulkner’s debut too.

Think the stadium pitch at their place is 3G.

That’s where I’m heading. Cracking little ground, nice clubhouse, decent snack bar with nothing overpriced lol

Worksop are flying, spent a lot of money and have got a very good team for the level.
Quite a few ex league players in their 11 plus there’s a Donny connection with Liam Hardy, Jay Rollins and obviously our two.

Well worth a visit, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the quality and realise why Donny have let Faulkner and Kuyula go there.

Anyone know how much it is? Assuming its not a great deal.

Local football on a cold day with a warm cuppa and a pie sounds good.

Or dragged round supermarket and other shops? Choice is hard

It is, I have played on it six or seven times in the last couple of years.
Great surface.

I've found it on website after much searching, £10 adults. Reasonable

Perhaps you will verify that they are conforming to the Schofield playing template; we don't want our boys educated in the cruder arts.

17’ | Faulkner does well to clear the ball away from Hayes and Hughes brings it down before selling the defender with a sublime turn.

He played 90 minutes and they had a clean sheet and a win.

All three he will not necessarily be familiar with.

They are 11 points clear and won 17 league matches in a row. Good effort.

if winning 17  matches in a row merits only "a good effort"    have you thought of auditioning for "Screwge" this Christmas but you will  face some stiff competition from the "Union Leaders"  so good luck  :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

I went to the game and thought Bobby played very well, and in the second half grew into the game looking completely at  ease and in control, the Stockton forwards getting very little joy especially down the middle, where Bobby's pace was a telling factor.
The Stockton keeper made a couple of very good saves while the Worksop Keeper was only called on for the odd cross and set pieces, with most of the frenetic play centred mostly in midfield.
Tav came on for the last 15 minutes and provided an outlet on the right, put in a good cross to the far post that nobody got on the end of and worked his flank well the short time he got on.
A cracking goal to win the game deservedly for Worksop and at least the lad got a game, played well and was watched by at least one other side to my knowledge, whether Doncaster Rovers were present to monitor his and Tavs progress I have no idea other than the fans present.

Erroll is a top bloke, he taught my lad to drum properly.
