Agard

Honestly don’t know why he doesn’t get more minutes. Mostly makes an impact when he comes off the bench.

He can feel hard done by in my opinion.

We don’t have many goalscoring options at the moment, he can be a threat.

I do feel he’s probably on the list of those who can/will move on shortly though. But up to now he deserves more starts.

Don’t think he could play alone up top from the start anymore. But in a 2 with Miller he’d not have to do the leg work. And at the very least he should be getting 20min most games off the bench

He's unfortunately in a team that won't be best suited to his strengths. Good player, decent pro and likely a good team mate. I think it maybe best if he moves on in January for the sake of his own career as we look unlikely to play with 2 up top which he'd benefit massively from.

I'd be more inclined to play Agard more as it would in effect force us to build up the play through the middle and play to feet instead of relying on the hoofball to a striker marked by 2 or 3 defenders all the time.

I thought he looked like he was running through treacle on one chase for a hopefull punt forward last night. He is not the chaser that Miller is and for me is effective in the box which is why  as I keep harping on about, we should play a 2 up front

He was much visibly slower than the guy chasing after him that’s for sure. No idea why DS swapped Miller for him instead of playing them both.

He can barely run.

How many defenders does Miller outpace though? I like him, he's game & can finish, as long as it's on his right foot, he definitely needs a wing man though.

Surely Miller either needs some pace or a target man to play with? Agard doesn’t offer either, although I do like him.

What’s Agard’s goals per minutes ratio?

It feels like he’s done pretty well for us but hardly played. Maybe that’s an illusion and he just seems better by being on the bench.

3 league goals in 436 league minutes or just about 5 games equivalent. So a league goal every 1.6 league games.

If he isn’t going to get games I see no reason for him to not be loaned out if there is interest in him. He needs games we need a fresh option up there. Griffiths has been a big disappointment with his injuries. He just hasn’t got going for us. Potential but not really producing.

How long is Griffiths out for?
Lost track of injuries, think I've started to blank them out for mental wellbeing.

He’s been on the bench the last few weeks

He made his first appearance on Boxing Day since 11 October, coming on for 17 minutes against Tranmere. He was on the bench as an unused substitute for the Rochdale game. To date he has scored 2 in 20 for us, although he has rarely started.

From what I saw in his brief cameo on Thursday, Agards boots must be really, really heavy...looked like he was running backwards chasing one ball.

Seriously though, and as others have already said, I’d love to see him and Miller as a two.

He did look like he was running in treacle.
