We live 8 miles from Wycombe which is were the Red Kite was reintroduced to the UK and thats why we have a large number of Red Kites, beautiful birds. Because the locals feed them we get aerial displays every day just sitting and watching from the conservatory it is a great pleasure and its free.

I believe a geographical name refers to Kites. It might be Chevin as in Otley Chevin but I may have imagined that

There are loads in and around Harewood House and Muddy Boots Cafe feed the Kites and lots of people go to watch. Buy a coffee take some great pics
