and we could have lived happily ever after (OK perhaps not - BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO BE HAPPY)

and the humble pie factory would be (temporarily) working overtime

And we wouldn't deserve it how we've been playing which is probably why it didn't happen.

Just goes to show how sh*te the league is. We should be no where near but we are. Fingers crossed a couple of signings/loans and we could be going to Wembley in May.

If we had 1 more point last season, we would be in L1

tonights result Bradford City (performing to Bradford Park Avenue standards) 1 Rochdale 2

after City were 1-0 up at half time  ----  and a "pensioner" scores two second half goals   -- shows how predictably "unpredictable" this league can be apart from the top 2 .

Even Northampton are becoming unpredictable.

Bradford & Northampton being everyones bankers for the top 7.

Having an 'experienced' manager and being very active in the transfer market isn't always a way of guaranteeing success! Just 2 points separate us in the league.

I’m out for a pint or two at tea time so I’ll get the low down from the City fans. I didn’t see any in the gym this morning so no reports on the game yet.

Very scrappy and niggly game ,Bradford took the lead through bad defending, BCFC had Penalty claim ignored , righty IMO, Brad Halliday gave a clumsy Penalty away . Then Rochdale did every trick in the book to run the clock down after they took the lead with 20 mins to go.

From my local in Bradford by a mate who went. City brought on Cook, the division’s leading scorer after 80 minutes, despite going behind in the 73rd.
They then waited until the 90th minute to bring on two more, one being a loanee winger from West Ham.
According to my mate, City insisted on playing out from the back before lumping it 50 yards forward. In his words “Trying to play Premiership football with League 2 players.
He said that it was an awful game where when Rochdale went ahead they were wasting time and feigning head injuries at every opportunity.

That's a big IF this season with Orient flying away with the title this year. It would be nice to see Rovers improve, but I'm not sure they will be good enough this year.

If we hadn’t given away a  penalty that wasn’t at Leicester in 2014 we could still be in the championship
