I never knew Gilchrist came from Southampton

I did cheat  on the 1-1 (team a versus team b site) as I was trying to see if Bale ever played against Rovers

but it's all good fun

I was so young I never even saw him play for Rovers.   
I Wish.

The truth is i didn’t start watching Rovers until 1975 at age 20 when i came from Leeds to live in Doncaster.
