By one-footed I mean a player whose other foot was just for standing on.

Michael Mcindoe.

Mallik Wilks for me, that whole season everyone knew what he was going to do (even the opposition) but the outcome was always the same and no one could stop him. I remember the Bradford game, as soon as he picked the ball up I said he was gonna come onto his left, hit it hard and low and score and he did exactly that. Like a league 1 Arjen Robben.

Peg-leg Ronnie Walker .Yet he had a good career with us on the left wing in the 50’s and was one of a very good side comprising Gregg ,Makepeace,Graham,Patterson , Herbert , Teasdale , R walker , Tindill, Jeffrey ,McMorran and Mooney.

Agree with this. Great description.

I mentioned Albert in the best left footer thread. Maybe not many knew his nickname was "Yogi"

Most one-footed of recent times, but far from the best - Brad Halliday.

Is that why he never passed the ball Brian. A very good centre forward of that time told me that and you've dined with him, a lovely man who thought the world of your Dad.

To be fair we haven’t had many who could use both feet. Best was probably McIndoe/Sharp/Coppinger.
