Charlie Seaman is awful and Molyneux flatters to deceive in virtually every gane.. simply not good enough.
Molyneux is a good player. Not having the quality of KK to link up with won't do him any favours tho.

If we had used all the new players people will moan at not using our own players. It’s a tough one. Keep the faith. 2-1 now

Another defensive error. Really quite something even for us.

We have tried our own players and they are simply not good enough to get above mid-table. We can all see that. The new signings are fresh blood with some ambition and that's what we need, so we should have started with them.

I really thought these new signing would kick start our season. Said no one.
Some people seriously actually thought this though…  :turd:

No clean sheet yet again. Another defensive error yet again.

Perhaps this is down to the players getting used to a new system, but it’s notable just how bad the defence has been since Schofield took over. In 12 league games we’ve had only 2 clean sheets, and have conceded so far an average of 1.6 goals a game.

This is League Two. The lowest professional tier of the game. We’re conceding pretty much every game against sides with budgets a fraction of our budget.

Perspective. I have supported DRFC for 47 years. Many lows. Been some highs. We were always at this level in the 80s and 90s. We all know what happened in 97/98. Then there were the highs. Then, it’s been a downfall with some hope in between.
The owners get moaned at, without them we wouldn’t have a club. Let’s at least be thankful for them. Not everyone’s cup of tea I know. Some people want them to throw money in left, right and centre. If they did, then it didn’t work. They walk away. Then probably no club.
Unfortunately it is what it is at the moment. Maybe a season or two in league 2 and possibly work our way up again. Is it the end of the world.
Yes we all want success but it doesn’t always happen in life.
As other people have maybe, we have had some very close people die, my wife is disabled but been told her spine is deteriorating quicker than it should as well as other problems.
I don’t want sympathy, just as I said at the start, perspective

No point moaning about yet another our L2 performances as it’s what we paid for ! Our benefactors keep selling the players ,changing the back room staff and bringing players in that can’t get a game with any other team . Thank Baldwin & Blunt for all you’ve done !! Now **** off !!

What makes this worse is that we are absolutely nowhere in the lowest tier of the game. We are not getting rinsed in the Championship here. We’ve gone backwards at an unbelievable rate of knots and are also rans in tier four. Being here full stop is embarrassing given the resources we have to hand, but mid table nobodies here is really a colossal failure and will be by any measure the worst season since 1997/98.

I won't like your comment CBCB because I don't like it one bit, but I totally agree with it.

The signings did not fill me with confidence but the jury is still out on Schofield.  Worrying all round there's little to be happy about right now.

We are in L2.

And we have the second worst away defensive record in the division.

How the hell have we fallen apart like this? Every one of the back line that started today would struggle in the Conference.

I’ve made this point for the past two seasons now. We are the softest possible touch at the back. We barely ever keep a clean sheet and it’s not because there isn’t midfield cover, it’s because the defensive unit is shockingly bad and seem to think they are Newcastle circa 1996 when conceding 3 piss poor goals is fine because we can score 4 at the other end.

Keeping a clean sheet is not just numbers or not on a page, it’s a state of mind and a grudging reluctance to let the other side get away with even the smallest victory. This lot like their predecessors the last few season seem to think it is a minor occupational hazard to pretty much always concede.

And again, this is not the Championship. We are playing one tier above the part time lads.

The lot of you can sugar coat the club as much as you like but, the sooner we all agree that the people above are disinterested the better. Signing players who cant compete for gametime is a complete joke. SM will carry on patronising us all im sure. Facts remain

We are unlikely to improve to any great degree until the entire defensive unit is shipped out.

Nothing is going to change until someone in charge of recruiting realises that we need big strong bullies in this league not a bunch of light weight boy's.

Agreed. We are going nowhere with this defence. The way league 2 sides, (even the worst of them), are scoring with ease, is alarming. After numerous managers/coaches it still hasn't been addressed, & if it isn't addressed in the summer I fear the worst next season.

There is a long way still to go in THIS season Alan!!! Remember when we were safe in the championship but still managed to get relegated.

I entirely agree and have been saying the same. We are totally bereft of players with the mental resolve to impose themselves on the opposition.

We have moderately talented players who can beat an opponent that os equally lacking in steel. But put demands on us as a defensive unit and we evaporate. Because there isn't a f**king mester in the whole squad.
