Is this what we’re reduced to?

Trying to rationalise a home defeat to Hartlepool, a team barely above the trap door of the football league!!

Closer to the relegation zone than the playoffs

Well you aren't are you , 13 points away from dropping in to the relegation places and 5 off a play off spot .

Hi Tyke

They may have made the comment based on League position rather than points

However that doesn't work either because if we went up 8 places we would depose Stockport in play offs last position

If we went down 8 we would replace Gillingham in Relegation zone

Neither will happen imo but after today's " display" look out Gillingham unless we get consistency of the good kind

I think that Gillingham are likely to finish the season ahead of us in the table.

Yes, mate. They've signed some quality players in this window.

Sack the Sack The Board protesters!

Shut up you turnip

When they do, I will.
You are easily pleased, you would still be happy and clapping when were playing Armthorpe and losing.

Where on earth do you get the impression that I'm pleased from?

Did you go and witness that today

I witness today, not good at all. But, if you sack the board who will run the club?

COYR

It's time they handed over to the fan. They say they don't want any of their investments back.

Let the people with passion run it and if that means are a lower end league 2 club that's OK.

Run it with what? It takes money to run a football club, who’s hoping to finance the day to day running costs.

Yep their 39 was very handy.

My (one of my) worry is if this decline continues is that we become much less attractive as a team players want to join.

What doesn't help is the fans turning on each other.

I feel there is good reason to rant about the current goings-on at Rovers.

Maybe the approach of some of the protestors is misguided. But some of the vitriol sent there way by men on this forum who are old enough to know better is astonishing.
Why?   They are not proposing and alternative.   Sack the board  then what.   I would understand the opposite view if there was a valid solution proposed.

Plus, there seems to be no recognition  of what TB is doing/ has done for this club

Like wise many on here don’t show any gratitude to what John Ryan did for the club. Something I really find hard to read in all honesty!

Both the chants for sack the board and the half arsed efforts.   Low standard..just like Netto

I sat in the East Stand today and pleased to report the “sack the board” muppets were barely heard. This sentiment is not needed. Ever.
The Pool fans on the other hand I thought were superb. Near the bottom of the table pre match. Got behind their team. Loud and proud. Proper support.

Ye, I sit just below Copps and Baldwin and we didn’t hear any of that nonsense from our fans. Thank god. Drowned out by the Hartlepool fans.

Many? How many? I see lots of people who take a view of him based on his whole tenure and not just the glory years, but I've not seen anyone not be grateful for what he did at the start of his tenure.

For example, I'm grateful for the what he achieved at the start of his tenure. However, after he lied to the DFP about the VSC and then lied to the Rovers fans about his second attempt to buy the club I don't want him near the club again.

Are you ever actually near the club yourself? Do you go to games?

Some of your opinions on the goings off are mind boggling. I’m not sure what your watching.

I was a season ticket holder for many years until disability and my location meant that I couldn't attend any more, apart from the odd match here and there. I wish I could be there for every game as I used to be but I can't.

Presumably you think that means I'm not entitled to have an opinion any more because those who do go are 'better' fans. Otherwise you wouldn't have asked.

What you've not been watching is that I haven't passed any comment on the players or the matches themselves. Because unlike what I see from a lot of hotheads on here, I don't gob off about things I don't know anything about.

If you frequently visited you would certainly see a decline in everything about the club. Both on and off the field. It’s glaringly obvious. Thats not gobbing off, that’s factual.

Looking at their 39 Hartley , he only had to snarl at our players and they would all sh#t the sens

Glynn if you’re visiting the keepmoat seeing the state of the place. How poor the club shop is. The state of toilets. State of catering etc etc then you’d understand.

Constant cost cutting all over the place.

The catering is outsourced, and their contract is up in the summer so don’t expect that part to get any better. The club shop is also run by a 3rd party.
Not the answers people are looking for but it’s hardly the club cutting costs and causing the problem either.

Regarding the shop, run by elite pro sports, someone I know got a Club Doncaster gift voucher, tried to use it in the shop, to be told it couldn’t be used there because they are elite pro sports, so paid for the items with his debit card, the transaction in his bank account came out as Club Doncaster
