I've waited a few hours before posting to let my blood pressure come down. I've seen some poor Rovers sides in my time but the current lot are up there with the worst. We can't defend, the midfield is non-existent and we rarely look like scoring. If Schofield has a plan he must be keeping it to himself 'cause the players look clueless. No disrespect but to be mugged by Hartlepool is unforgivable. We weren't outplayed but pretty football, passing sideways and backwards is not going to get us out of this division, well not upwards anyway. What we need is more players like Rob Jones, Alan Little and Colin Douglas who would gee up the troops and fight for every ball, not a team of headless chickens. I'm not one of the "sack the board" brigade but if things are allowed to drift the way they are we could well be on our way to join Oldham and Scunthorpe. This is not a knee-jerk reaction to one defeat but the soundbites and bog standard rhetoric from the club is just embarrassing.
Danny S is a nice guy but if he's not the one to take us forward then bring in someone who can. As the cliche goes - it's a results business and right now we need some, whatever it takes.

They started with Stolarczyk in goal with Killip on the bench as their reserve/backup goalkeeper, we started with Mitchell in goal who used to be the reserve/back up for Killip just over a year ago, just an observation, nothing else

Another sad fact from Saturday is that our opponents, second from bottom of the league, were far better with the ball than we were.
