Harry Kane

Many of our posters will know by now that Kane has passed the great Jimmy Greaves as the all time leading scorer for Tottenham.
Quite an achievement.
His goal today was also his 200th in the PL.
Alongside him also being Englands highest ever goalscorer I suppose he could be considered to be a top top striker.

Top striker would do for me, Hound.  Just me I know but hearing pundits using that term always jars with me.  Anyway yes, hard to dispute that he is the best.

Think Shearer has the edge on him.
He played against better defenders imo. 
Different players of course. Both have been top drawer as was Rooney and Lineker.
For me though showing my age Greaves was the most natural finisher and on a one to one did he actually ever miss?

I think that Kane has a better all round game than Shearer had though Campsall. The way he knocks the ball around and the number of assists give him the edge for me.

Kane is a brilliant footballer but I’d take prime Rooney over him all day.
