Okay half.  Rovers competing and battling well, but keeping waiting for us to properly click into a gear

Solid half that. Could be a bit sharper in the final 3rd but look solid at the back. Brown and maxwell both putting a shift in tonight

We look like a team now. It doesn't work perfectly all the time, but 1-11 we look pretty good.

What a player Tommy Rowe is to have as cover for every position.

I thought that was poor.

Surely that was decent? Not real Madrid or Man City like...but we are Doncaster Rovers. Lots of good passing, shots and creative play. I'll take another half like that!

Olowu looks solid.
Hurst busy.
Molly lively.
Brown and close linking up.
Another rovers goal early on should seal this

I think we're a bit away from that, but its getting better.  We look better in defence. We don't dominate though like some SOD performances

I thought we were supposed to be a possession based team. Instead we just hit the channels were Miller can't hold the ball up. Back three are too slow moving the ball. Too many risky passes played by JO and Nelson into the middle. Losing headers Hurst taking bad options. If we weren't winning there would be more not satisfied.

Look comfortable. Olowu had some erratic moments early on.
Hurst has frustrated me with delaying getting a shot away and then losing the chance.

But all in all, ok for first half. Let's keep pushing for a 2nd and put this to bed. Barrow don't look to have much.

Would get miller off for lavery early in this half. He has played alot of minutes and looks tired to me. It wouldn't weaken the side.

Bit of a funny half. Thought at times we played some really good stuff but equally we were pretty sloppy a fair bit. The defence looked a bit shaky early on (particularly Olowu) but then not really threatened much afterwards. Would like to see us kick on a bit second half as I think there’s an opportunity for a couple more goals but would be quite happy with more of the same and a 1-0 win.

Fair enough, RR.

Miller off. He is such an enigma. Loads of effort. No goals. His first touch ability is poor for me.
