3 clean sheets in a row
« on February 14, 2023, 09:59:58 pm by Bailey Vickerage »
When was the last time we had 3 in a row lol? Another great defensive display from us, especially when they threw everything at us in the last 20 mins.

I posted this the other day. It was the same time we had two consecutive clean sheets - a run of games in January 2021 under Moore. Long before Olowu joined us. The only defender left from that run is Tom Anderson.

Key to success at all levels of football are clean sheets, but even more so at lge 2 level. The more clean sheets you have the higher the chance of play offs or autos.

I saw a post by someone who said it was back in 2009/10.

Copied from thread on clean sheets:

I think the last time we had 4 in a row was in 2009-10 under SOD in the Championship, 4 wins against Palace, Wednesday, Bristol City and Derby

Not bad that  :clapping:

It is surely not coincidence that Olowu has been present for all three.

Big Tom missing for Bradford and Sutton. 1 more injury from a collapse in either the rear or middle of the park.

I was critical of the decision to put Tommy Rowe in the back 3 at first but he didn’t put a foot wrong last night.

Big Tom would be the perfect match up for Andy Cook though.

Could do with Tom on Saturday.
It’s going to be a physical battle at Sutton.

If it was before the War, DU, BB and Wolfie will fill you in on the details.

I still possess the single. Apple Records. 1970. Somewhere I've got Temma Harbour too. I thought it was the B side to TWTD's - but it ain't. I've just listened to it on Youtube - for the first time in aeons. It's  crap.

I doubt you would have had a chance, with her being gay and everything. Sorry to spoil the fantasy :)

She will have been well dressed then. If she had been with Gordon Banks he would have had to keeper.
