IMO this has now become a must win game if we're to make the play-offs.

A defeat or a draw next week would leave us with too much catch-up to make, and I just don't think our squad has the physical or mental ability to do it.

My personal opinion is that if you think we have the group to make the playoffs i feel you are all delusional. Im telling you all now that there isnt a hope in hell. If we do i will eat my hat and apologise to all. Absolute sh!te.

We don’t do well in big games at home. ESP when the away team have the proverbial 12 th man.
Happy to be proved wrong.

We aren’t good enough, we had chances today but our attacking players aren’t good enough and I’ve zero idea why we signed Todd Miller

You are right 4000 away fans v 200 brain dead 12 year olds singing about Harry Maguire. Having said that probably more intelligent than George Miller.

Bradford got beat by Barrow today.

As an opposition we’re more suited to beat Bradford than Sutton.

Well we win our game in hand and we will be on the same points so not sure how it’s delusional.
We’re playing much better now, today was as good a performance as Swindon but we missed our chances

On another day we don't lose today's match.

On another day we don't beat Barrow last Tuesday.

That's kind of the point. We are ok but not brilliant. That's why the likelihood is that we'll miss out on the playoffs by 2-4 points.

Note that I said "likelihood" not "certainty" before anyone wades in.

When ever we dominate the ball and have more possession the majority of the time we end up losing. Our past 3 wins we had less possession than our opponents. The defeats before then we dominated the ball. Today we had 65% of the ball so no surprise we lost.

On Saturday Bradford will have the majority of possession which will suit us.

Likewise, no team always scores, we need to be keeping clean sheets.

The fact of the matter is, we've been poor in both penalty areas most of the season. That's why we most likely won't be promoted.

The team spirit and camaraderie within the group is getting stronger, you can tell that. I don’t think we’ve had that for 2 years.

Sorry to say it but, add a better striker to this XI and it would be a promotion team.

What is your issue with George Miller. Yes he isn't banging goals in right now but when he puts on the shirt he looks like he gives a damn.

But you still feel the need to have a personal attack about his intelligence.

With fans like you I don't know why he bothers trying. If he does get dropped who would be the next victim

When was the last time rovers won in front of a full north stand at the km. ?
Serious question.

It hasn’t happened this season.
Or last season for that matter.
And in the 20/21 season it would have been the Lincoln game. October 2020. 1-0. I think this was the last time rovers won at home in front of a full away allocation. I think.

that Lincoln game was the lockdown season. Id guess at it being the 19/20 season against Rotherscum (Copps scored and ran towards their fans and then whiteman completed the turnaround with a late penalty).

But we're not, because the players aren't good enough. That's why, in my opinion, we won't make the play offs. The approach play is getting better, but we looked nowhere near like a team that are chasing a play off place yesterday. Our soft touch mentality came shining through again yesterday, against a poor side that had little to do to beat us.

Said this yesterday, for all Miller's hard work he just gets battered by Big defenders every game, when the balls played up to him we more often than not concede possession. I believe  a player like Marquis would fit perfect into our team. Wouldn't get bullied & probably win plenty of free kicks.

George Miller is a good player if he gets the right service. He missed an opportunity to score, that he should have put away, all strikers miss chances. If we can consistently make chances like that for him, he will be scoring regularly again.

The team as a whole didn’t do enough to win the game. Not enough pressure put on the opposition goal, not enough shots on target. Sutton were efficient with the chances they got. Onto Bradford, a reaction is needed with that a win.

Its the sitters that he's missing that's concerning. Its not like 1 on 1s keeper saving. The Mansfield game he practically missed an open goal too. He's better when he has no time to think and whacks it as basic as that.
