FA Cup
« on March 02, 2023, 04:50:12 pm by Crowle Rover »
The FA Cup this year is proving to be like the old days.

Aside from the 2 Manchester teams it's a mixed bag and all the better for it in my humble opinion.

The last time I remember it being like this was 2008 when you had Barnsley,Cardiff,Portsmouth and West Brom in the semis.

Hopefully it won't be an all Manc final as no-one wants that.

Unbelievable year 2008 when my dreams of seeing my club make it to the FA cup final very nearly came true .

Ouch , that semi final defeat hurt like hell , I've never seen any tv footage of the game such is my pain and I probably never will .

Slight criticism of the current FA cup and that's the decision make the 5th and 6th rounds midweek with the draw already made before the 5th round starts .

Not for me .

Worst final would be one of them v what's left in the tournament.

Brighton aren't bad mind.

I reckon at least one of the mancs will be in the final.

I liked the fact it was over two days midweek and was all on normal tv.

Me too, I changed tv channels twice last night following the action.
Brilliant for Grimsby, the money they will be picking up from the cup run and tv money is likely to make them a strong contender for promotion next season.
