Probably want the bad hygiene rating to be linked with previous name to lessen the impact of bad reputation on the sodexo name.

Probably the reason behind the low rating is the continual change over of staff, rarely do you see the same person twice as they seem to be shipping in the staff from all over. So there is very little pride in the service they offer, they’re there for a little extra cash then on the bus at the end of the game and home they go. Not sure anyone will be disappointed to see the resident caterers go.

Agreed .... I have asked many many tines on here " have you EVER seen the same person twice"

I only see West Stand and am certain (as I can be) I have never seen the same person twice

So every game the new staff need inducting (I spent last 10 years of my working life) driving up to Gretna , Falkirk , Manchester and East Anglis inducting people in the :rules of the Comapny I worked for

I used on maybe a .Monday  to someone at Gretna " right that's you done but you can't leave till the Seasons over in September"

2 days later the person had left.for whatever reason ( usually a permanent  job ) and next day I was back there  doing it all.over again

There are no winners.

Cos they know they are out on their ass at the end of the season so are even less bothered than normal

If I was the Board I wouldn't be very happy at all with that yes we know its a different company running the catering but the average Joe Public doesn't  Reflects badly on the club

I still don't understand the need to buy their stuff, surely anyone needing food could pick it up on the way to the game or drink enough without needing to buy it at the ground if you can"t go 2 hours without a beer perhaps you need to look at yourself in the mirror plenty of opportunity before or after the game elsewhere
If I was coming straight from work I'd make sure I had enough snap with me at work to cover it and a flask

The audit was done on January 30th, for the east stand level 1 and 2 unless you see the report the kitchen facilities could be good and clean,it may be structural or repairs need doing

Let’s hope we’re a bit more careful when it comes to handing out the next catering contract.

I’d offer a two year deal with a 12 month on going contract depending on the food, staff & service. And the contract would be terminated without penalty if the company sold or passed on its business to another party.

I may be a little naive here as i don't tend to use the facility but are the staff special needs? is there some sort of tie in with community relations?

Or is it just a case that no one wants to work in this field?

Wouldn’t give it any rating. Disgusting on the eye. Surprised no one or lots haven’t had food poisoning

Embarrassing really isn't it?  Criminal if this isn't a breach of contract.

Sorry but that's the completely wrong attitude. It's not about blaming fans - it's about trying to improve facilities and match day experience to the bare minimum you'd get in any sporting venue.

It's Sodexo at the moment, centreplates been took over about 20 million times since the contract started

What sort of contracts do we sign up to?

I mean how on earth is a 2* food hygiene rating not a breach of contract.

Surely it should be written in about keeping a certain standard?

Of course it is, but what are you going to do when you're just a few weeks away from the end of the contract?

Get rid early counter charge and temporarily put burger vans round the ground.

Better to protect the Club Doncaster brand than let a company with a poor hygiene rating serve your customers.

Must admit, looking forward to some decent scran at the stadium.

Got a feeling though, the next lot will just be as bad.

2 year deals where they show the odd flash of talent on the training pitch but then fail to deliver when it counts at the Eco Power.

That’s just not workable and not a legal minefield anybody would want at this stage.
