Last nights post match interview

Does he think we are all stupid?

His refusal to see what happens in front of his eyes, should be grounds for gross misconduct, a dereliction of duty!

Make no mistake non league football is on the horizon, and no one apart from the fans seems to care!

Ha ha. Love this. There’s a lot of dereliction of duty going on. I’ve just used this phrase twice to a mate describing Schofields refusal to try and entertain the fans and Coppinger’s refusal to dispose of this buffoon. Bad times.

Just seen this on Twitter - the Crewe manager's reaction to their loss last night, well worth a watch: https://twitter.com/crewealexfc/status/1638314334815232002

It might not make an actual tangible difference to performances or results, but wouldn't it be nice to see some standards being publicly set at our club, instead of the current cycle of excuses, and reasons why we should all be grateful and cheerful no matter how bad things get.

Just absolute delusions from schofield.

"They gave everything "
"Hopefully the fans can be proud"

What drugs is he taking ??

I honestly fear we will be back in non league soon, with these clowns running the club, and the incompetent coaches they appoint.

If he can't see what we can, surely the board can, surely! Thing is he actually believes it & thinks he can fool the supporters. I'm at a loss.

You have hit the nail on the head there, 100% correct that only the fans care,
Because if anyone else cared, the first team coach together with Copps should have resigned for that performance alone last night, we know they won’t, so the board should stand up and do it and apologise that they have got things drastically wrong over the past 2 seasons and tell us they will do everything in their powers to build the team to a good standard that fans deserve. If none of them can be man enough to do that, then we have no hope.

I do worry about someone’s character who can come out and speak such untruths so easily.

Ok maybe don’t go full Conte and slate the players, it’s not professional, but don’t come out with this nonsense. I’d not be able to let the words leave my mouth if I were him.

The majority of our fans do give managers a good crack at it so to reach the tipping point of general opinion so quickly is telling. When it gets this bad it normally isn’t long before a change.

I actually think they did give it there all, we defended very well in the main, the problem is the players are not good enough and the way ds plays does not suit the players, nothing will change without investment so unfortunately we will have to get used to it

Ooh! Haven't we done well, getting a draw away from home! Pity it is against one of the poorest teams in Lg.2. Maybe DS is preparing us for the struggle to survive next season.

He really is detached from reality isnt he? This ship really is sinking with this fraud at the helm, which reminds me can you imagine him being interviewed on the titanic disaster?

Reporter... "Danny 1500 lives lost your thoughts?"

DS "Yeah no, initially disappointing, but in terms of the survivors 700 saved really pleased with that so yeah no overall that’s a real positive.

Reporter "Danny thoughts on the ship breaking in 2?"

DS Yeah no, it only broke in two 5 minutes before the end up until that point, i thought it was really solid, and remained steadfast in what i thought was challenging circumstances, so yeah really pleased with the ships performance overall"

Reporter "What can you say about 3rd class passangers being kept below?"

DS Yeah no, i thought they handled the situation really well, in terms of not being able to get on to the boat deck, and their perseverance paid off in the end when they got up top albeit with only 10 mins to go."

Reporter "What can you tell us about the iceberg?"

DS Yeah we knew it was going to come at us from the off, and although it was bigger than we thought it would be, we certainly didnt underestimate it."

Reporter "Danny why were lifeboats only sent out half full at the start?"

DS Yeah no i think in this situation you have to trust the process, so initially We got off to a slow start, but we came more into it as the ship sunk, so yeah really pleased with the application of my officers."

Reporter "Finally Danny what now?"

DS Yeah no the survivors have just got to New York, and cant wait to start a new challenge so yeah really pleased for them yep"

For those not heard the interview 25 seconds in he was asked about us struggling to get going first half. He paused (DS) for a full 4 seconds, proceeding to say we grew into the game and finished the half really strongly. It was clearly an awkward question for him, yet why cant he just come out and give an honest appraisal off the situation, instead of sugar coating everything?  :headbang:

Send that one to Copps to read Prez.
Fantastic.

Nail on head. But so depressing isn’t it that it’s so true.

Nice one Prez.

Cpt Smith went down with the ship. Stuck to his fundamentals and refused to change.

Players are no better either !!

Luke Molyneux quoted by DFP on staying in League 2 for another season;

"The 24-year-old added: "If we are showing improvement on the pitch I don’t think it would be a failure.

"As long as we are playing alright football and getting results, and you can see that improvement coming, then we can take that into next season.”

FFS what are they feeding them on ??

That’s one of his buzzwords I forgot to include. Fundamental.

Regarding Luke’s interview it’s just patronising verbal diarrhoea, that keeps getting sent out. The players are not improving and ironically Luke is a prime example. 12 goals last season in a Hartlepool team that finished 17th.

The players are going backwards. Literally.

I think they are feeding them on grit, their a*#es are puckering up every time anyone mentions promotion.

If we’ve got players whose level of ambition is to remain in L2 we really are screwed aren’t we.

My thoughts entirely, he does himself no favours. It borders on condescending.
