Todd Miller

I thought he played ok yesterday but I can see why DS hasn't been starting him this season. Now we know we are neither going up or down this season barring an absolute miracle isn't it time to see what some of the younger lads can do? I would love to see Jack Goodman start the next game, Miller isn't going to be with us next season so why play him in front of one of our own youngsters.

I’m torn. Part of me thinks we need to scrap a few performances so we should play our most experienced team. If DS isn’t going we need to see something from the team before the summer.

But then again I’d love to see Faulkner, Goodman, Degruchy etc play a bit to see if they are something we can use next season.

Ideally for me we let DS go now and start playing these lads to see if they have it. No point having Agard turning out fir these next few games. It doesn’t do anything for us

Personally don't want them to play yet if Schofield is still in charge. Let the experienced players deal with this toxic atmosphere and then when hopefully Schofield is gone and its a better atmosphere around the place let them have a run out.

If Schofield's got any nous , it's almost a get out of jail for free card if he plays youth/fringe  players between now and the end of the season. Carry on playing your best available eleven and results continue as they are he's putting himself even further in the firing line.

I would go 4-5-1 against Crewe. Mitchell would retain his place as options are lacking. I would want to have a look at Faulkner at the back, so would push Rowe into the midfield, moving Olowu to left centre back.

I would play Hurst as a right wing back, leave Seaman on the left.
A midfield three off Close, Ravenhill and Rowe, with Westbrooke given an opportunity just behind Lavery.

Goodman for me deserves an opportunity off the bench. Brown drops to the bench as does Molyneux because they haven’t played well enough.
Confidence is low at the minute but I think this side would do ok against Crewe. Mix the play up and don’t be as predictable. A win of any kind is needed.

                          Mitchell

            Faulkner.    Anderson.  Olowu

Hurst.                                                Seaman

            Close.      Ravenhill.    Rowe

                          Westbrooke

                             Lavery

Subs Agard, Goodman, T.Miller, Molyneux, Brown, Long, Bottomley
