Signed for 3 more seasons

…Summer, Autumn and Winter

Surprised after the playoffs they’ve stuck with him but hopefully it means they keep their hands off McCann :bscarf:

Given that social media spat between McCann and Peterborough's owner, I'd be surprised of them pinching him!

Can’t deny he isn’t a great League 1 manager - but surely they had to move on?

Peterborough are my outside tip to be relegated next season. Sounds like a lot of cutting back and all sorts going on at board level.

I’d be worried if I were a Posh fan.

Will probably see one of those rock up to the Keepmoat?

I think Tomlinson was close to signing in Jan but opted for Swindon instead.

Well, now Fergie has managed in the Championship maybe 'consolidation' isn't such a dirty word to him!

He wasn’t a good manager for us in League One. He got us relegated and then when we were back in there he had us finished 15 points off the play offs. Following season with pretty much same squad McCann got us in to the play offs.

Would'nt blame Ferguson for the relegation. Was more Dickov's squad.Gave Stoke a good game in FA cup but got beat 2-1and the game after had 4 bad injuries against Gillingham which is where it went wrong.Andy Williams not scoring for 3 months did'nt help.

He took over in October and had a window with a squad that wasn’t great but experienced enough to stay up. He also walked in and game long-term deals to Middleton, Evina and Lund within weeks of being in the job. Barely played them afterwards and we had them on the books for years to come. A fairly good identifier of talent but not a good manager for us I’m afraid.
